Loves close human contact and enjoys being cradled or snuggled in a lap.

Personality:
Displays an alert, intelligent, and mildly curious gaze, making her a wonderful candidate for training and new adventures.

Training and Behavior:
Her natural curiosity makes her an excellent candidate for treat-based positive reinforcement training. She is fully potty trained and has a perfect record, never missing a single time. This smart girl already knows “Sit,” “Up,” and “Down,” and is also fully crate trained.

What I Need:
I thrive best in an environment with a steady daily schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and bedtime.

I get along with everybody — senior dogs, cats, and kids!

Calm and confident, showing a secure and steady temperament. Intelligent, alert, and incredibly sweet, Nugget is the perfect blend of a loyal companion and a curious explorer ready to grow alongside a loving family. Extremely relaxed & calm demeanour - he’s the most chill pup!!

His natural curiosity makes him an excellent candidate for treat-based positive reinforcement training. Nugget is learning how to use p*e pads and is currently about 80% successful. This smart boy already knows “Sit,” “Up,” and “Down,” and is also fully crate trained.

✨ In Loving Memory of Dahab ✨

Last weekend, we said goodbye to sweet Dahab, and our hearts are broken.

Dahab was only with our rescue for 3 short weeks, but in that time he showed us exactly who he was: a gentle, affectionate boy who loved cuddles, enjoyed being brushed, and greeted everyone he met with kindness.

Sadly, Dahab was rushed to the emergency hospital when he stopped eating and drinking, the doctors believed he had wet FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a devastating disease caused by a mutation of a common feline coronavirus. Wet FIP causes fluid to build up in the abdomen or chest and can progress rapidly. Despite our efforts to help him, his little body was simply too weak to fight this cruel disease.

Although his time with us was brief, Dahab spent his final weeks surrounded by love, comfort, and care. We wish we had more time with him, but we are grateful that we were able to show him kindness when he needed it most.

Run free, sweet boy. 🌈🐾

You will never be forgotten, Dahab. Your gentle spirit touched everyone who met you, and your memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Hi everyone,

My sister is currently in the hospital, and we're looking for a loving temporary foster home for her beloved cat, Gracie. We don't yet know how long she'll be hospitalized, but we do know that Gracie needs companionship and a caring home while her mama recovers.

A message from Gracie:

"Hi, I'm Gracie. I'm a 10-year-old shy girl, but I'm definitely the apple of my mama's eye. My mama can't take care of me right now because she's in the hospital. My aunty has been coming by to feed me and make sure I have everything I need, but what I really miss is having my human around.
My mama is usually with me 24/7, and after being on my own for the last two weeks, I'm starting to feel lonely and withdrawn. I may be shy at first, but once I feel safe, I'm a very loving girl.
I think I'd do best in a quiet home without other cats, dogs, or young children. I know caring for a pet is a big ask, but if you have room in your heart and home for me until my mama comes back, I'd be so grateful." ❤️

Meet Pearl! This adorable mixed-breed puppy is full of happiness, curiosity, and endless energy. Pearl loves making new friends with the other dogs in her foster home, chasing toys, and exploring the world with a wagging tail and playful spirit. When she’s done adventuring, she’s happiest cuddled up beside her favourite human or canine sibling for a nap—and she’ll never say no to a tasty treat!

Personality:
Pearl is a bundle of joy and energy. She loves to stay busy, but after a good zoomie session, she’s ready to recharge with a nap wherever she happens to land. She currently lives with five other dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with each of them. Pearl loves to copy her foster siblings and especially enjoys a good game of tug-of-war.

Training & Behaviour:
Pearl is a quick learner and is currently working on p*e pad and crate training. She is already responding to some verbal cues and is very food motivated. As she has not yet received her second set of core vaccines, Pearl cannot go outdoors until June 29 and can go to her new home June 30th.

What I Need:
A home with another dog would be a wonderful opportunity for Pearl to continue building her social skills, but she would also do well as the only dog in the home. Most importantly, Pearl is looking for a loving family that will nurture her curiosity and help her grow into an amazing companion.

Meet Sully! This handsome Newfoundland mix puppy is the total package. At 12 lbs, Sully is a sweet, gentle boy with soft curly fur, floppy ears, and an easygoing personality that makes everyone fall in love.

Personality:
Sully is the definition of a perfect puppy. He loves playing with his littermate and foster siblings but is just as happy curling up for a nap afterward. While he has typical puppy energy, he is generally calm, affectionate, and seems wise beyond his years.

Meet Chesley, a sweet little boy who just wants to be with his people! And the list of “his” people seems to grow as soon as he meets someone.

Personality:
Chesley is very affectionate and friendly, always ready for a cuddle. He also enjoys a good play session, both with his puppy brother and the resident kids at his foster home.

He loves snuggling on his foster mom’s lap while she works and has done great in the car.

Training and Behavior:
Chesley has already started learning how to use a crate and was quick to pick up puppy pad training. Since he is still waiting for his booster vaccine, he is not yet able to go outside.

He is a smart boy who learns quickly, and we’re excited to see what else he can accomplish while in foster care.

What I Need:
A family that’s ready to spend time training and cuddling this sweet guy. He is fostered with children and thinks they are super fun to be around.

Not cat tested but will likely be fine @ this young age! He is good with other dogs too.

My name is Delphi and I’m from Manitoba! I am a Shepherd x Labrador Retriever mix (best guess) and currently weigh 10.8 lbs, but I am expected to be approximately 50 lbs when fully grown. I am a playful and very smart girl, but I also REALLY love my naps!

Personality:
So, so, so sweet, cuddly, and playful! 💖

Training and Behavior:
Delphi loves people and kids! She can be nervous around other dogs at first, but once she warms up, she becomes very playful. She has not yet been tested around cats.

She is currently working on her leash skills and is very smart, picking up new things quickly. She already knows how to sit, and we’re working on her “down” command. Delphi is also working on crate training and sleeps in her crate overnight.

What I Need:
A home with LOTS of patience because I am just a puppy! I will also need plenty of socialization as I can be nervous around other dogs and loud noises.

Important Notes:
💉 Delphi cannot go outdoors for walks or public outings until she receives her core vaccine booster.

🏡 Delphi will be ready for adoption on June 29.

Fun Fact:
My favourite place to nap is between my foster mom’s feet while she does the dishes!! 💕
