Hockey For Grace She was with us a scant 8 days, but the memories we were able to make will last a lifetime.

An annual Tournament & Charity Social to celebrate the short, amazing life of our Gracie-Belle while raising money for Emily's House, the Children's Hospice she called home. This page is here to spread the word about the annual hockey tournament and charity social we have arranged to honour the short life of our precious Grace Gabriela. We were able to make these memories thanks to Emily's House,

a youth hospice which is so much more than just that. It is a place where we were able to live with our daughter instead of just watching her die. In our unending drive to help Emily's House continue to provide the care we received, we have decided to host this event . The hockey tournament will take place at National Training Rinks in Newmarket on April 1st, 2016. We will also be hosting a "Charity Social" at the Newmarket Optimist Hall for post-tournament celebrating and fundraising. There will be prizes, snacks, drinks, live music and SO MUCH MORE!! 100% of proceeds raised from the hockey tournament and post-tournament "social" will go to Emily's House.

Meet Abby

One of the most special donations of the day came from 7 year old Abby. She made & sold bracelets today and at the end of the day gave me almost $60 that she wanted to donate to Hockey for Grace. Abby reminded us what kindness, generosity, and compassion look like.

Kids are the best. đź’•

Check out this custom tape job made especially for today. I am so grateful I happened to notice it while I was on the bench. It was one of those small moments that ended up meaning so much more than words can express.

This young player took the time to write Grace’s name on his stick after learning about her story. It completely caught me off guard and honestly blew me away.

In a day filled with incredible moments, this was one I’ll never forget. It’s a reminder that kindness shows up in the smallest gestures and often when you least expect it.

Thank you for carrying Grace with you today. 💕🏒
