The Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides Newmarket on Saturday was a success, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and showed their support. We would like to thank our sponsors, including Pet Valu stores on Bayview Avenue in Aurora, Green Lane in Newmarket, and Oakridges. Fairy Tails Dog Grooming and DJ Jacster provided outstanding DJ/MC services, while Taylors Toons created delightful character illustrations of participants with their dogs. We appreciate the support of Town of Newmarket Counsellors Jane Twinney and Bob Kwapis, as well as our hosts, the North Newmarket Lions Club, who provided a fantastic barbecue and volunteer efforts. Lastly, we thank the participants who helped raise essential funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada and because of your generosityyou are helping change someone’s life with one of these incredible Dog Guides. The North Newmarket Lions Club are hosting this event and we hope you will come out and participate to help raise funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and help Canadians with medical and physical disabilities with an incredible Dog Guides.
