L & A County General Hospital Foundation Keeping Health Care Close to Home for your loved ones in Lennox & Addington and surrounding area.

The L & A Hospital Foundation is an independent, charitable organization governed by a board of community volunteers. The Foundation was established in 1995 to encourage and co-ordinate a continuing high level of support for the Hospital. Donations from individuals, corporations, and local organizations share the belief that community participation makes a stronger healthcare system. Funding from

the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care provides the basics in healthcare but no longer covers the cost of medical equipment. Thanks to the continued generosity of donors the Foundation is able to help our Hospital buy much needed medical equipment.

Since joining us as a summer student, Chloe has quickly become part of everything happening at the Foundation. From events and 50/50 to social media and plenty of work behind the scenes, she’s been a great addition to our team.
