Every year our Youth and Scouters along with their families attend our Advancement Ceremony.

During the ceremony we celebrate the achievements of our youth by awarding badges, patches and witness our youth advancing to a new section. It is a special and exciting day for all the youth involved which everyone looks forward to each year.

Families are invited to attend, to bring a pot luck contribution, chairs, mess kits, and drinks to celebrate with all of our youth and Scouters.

Pot Luck Assignments:
Beaver Scouts - Desert or salad
Cub Scouts - Appetizers
Scouts/Venturers - main dishes
*be sure to include serving utensils with your dish.

Now is a great time to THANK A SCOUTER for all they have contributed to your son/daughters scouting experience. Scouters are volunteers who give their time, knowledge and give them amazing memories. They make it possible to learn that knot, put up the tent, start a campfire, climb that rock wall, canoe, use a compass or map and make lifelong friends. None of this would be possible without our amazing Scouters!

You can follow this link to Thank a Scouter who made a difference in your son/daughter life. These thank you's make it possible for our Scouters know what they do is appreciated and is making a difference in someone's life.

Thank you to Quinte Conservation for leading an incredible adventure for our beaver scouts. They enjoyed the nature walk despite the mosquitoes, built birdhouses for bluebirds and roasted apples and marshmallows on a campfire.
