Feed Nourrir NB Feed Nourrir NB(formerly Food Depot Alimentaire) offers food and financial assistance to 68 food banks, shelters and community kitchens in NB.

We also support school Breakfast programs, ensuring that breakfast is accessible to over 100,000 students weekly -Serving the Front line on Hunger
Food Depot Alimentaire (FDA) is a registered, non-profit charitable organization that serves over 63 food banks, community kitchens, 135 school food programs and 30 other supportive agencies across New Brunswick. Our primary functions include food stora

ge and distribution, fundraising and food collection, security and advocacy for the people we serve and the agencies we support. Our 15 000 square foot warehouse receives and ships over 4 million pounds of product per year at a value of 10.4 million dollars. We are experts in food logistics to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of food aid to the people who need it the most. We help support on average over 50,000 individuals monthly in NB through our network agencies. We thank all our supporters for helping us build capacity to fulfill our mission. Friday 5000 Farms update 6500 lbs! Thank you to all our volunteers for another great harvest yesterday of carrots and potatoes. Pictured below are some action pics from start of day to delivery at Feed Nourrir NB where Feed NB will then prepare to deliver to all New Brunswick Food Banks, Shelters and Kitchens very soon 🥕🥔❤️

Coping this from our friend and weather guy CJ Bernard Significant rainfall is expected.

Locations: Southern and northeastern New Brunswick.

Time span: Thursday night until Saturday afternoon for some regions.

Remarks: A developing and slow-moving weather system is expected to bring a period of significant rainfall. Tropical moisture will contribute to sustained, heavy downpours. Rainfall rates of 10 to 20 mm per hour may occur over some locations. Thunderstorms may develop over some areas, producing locally heavier rainfall. There is some uncertainty as to where the highest rainfall amounts will occur, but the potential exists for significant totals over some locations.

Water pooling on roads may make travel more difficult in some areas.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most adverse conditions.

From our friends at 5000 Farms We just crossed the 1st 10,000 lbs of food produced for the year!

Along with the meat chicken and green beans, today we delivered 3300lbs of our first day of carrot harvest. Our friends at Feed Nourrir NB will distribute this across the province to food banks, kitchens and other missions. Now 290,000 lbs to go if we can reach our goal.

If you are still reading this, we need volunteers this year, especially with the crops being heavy. If you can, contact us at [email protected]. Tomorrow, Thursday is another big day and the more help we can get, the faster we can harvest.
