OUR MISSION
The foundation's mission is to host an annual police escorted motorcycle ride to raise funds and awareness of the foundations causes. This includes helping families of fallen emergency service personnel, helping children who were victims of violent crimes, as well as working in conjunction with the Mikey Network to make public defibrillators more readily available to help save lives. This would not be possible without the support of the individuals, companies and organizations that donate through registrations, silent auction gifts, equipment or sponsorships. ABOUT OUR RIDE
Just imagine being in a continuous line of motorcycles that can span as long as 4 km. Then imagine the excitement of being escorted by our Police Departments. Watching them close down sections of roadways while making room for this impressive line of motorcycles, travelling through cities and towns, seeing on-lookers watching and waving in awe. We have been doing this every year for the past 8 years in Ontario. Have you been a part of this? If you have then you know what we are talking about, and if you haven't, well what is stopping you from being a part of this in 2015 ? Join us and support our many causes.

Members of the Truro Police Service attended a Regimental Dinner last night hosted by the Amherst Police Department with Minister of Justice Scott Armstrong, as the guest speaker.

A police regimental dinner is a formal ceremonial dinner based on traditions that celebrates service, tradition, professionalism, and camaraderie among members.

Thank you to our policing partners with the Amherst Police Department for hosting. It was great seeing police agencies, other law enforcement and first responders from across Nova Scotia represented at this event.

The Atlantic 911 Ride was active in Prince Edward Island the past few weekends, where we participated in and led the Red Knights annual 9/11 ride throughout the island.
We also attended the Souris Regional High School “Meet a Machine” event and were present at the annual PEI Firefighters Peter MacDonald Memorial Golf Classic.

While on PEI, we experienced battery issues with the 911 vehicle. The Centennial Chrysler in Montague generously provided us with a new Mopar battery at no cost.
We extend our gratitude to Centennial Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and Centennial Auto Group for their assistance.
