October is Kindergarten Registration Month! If your child was born in 2022, visit the Parent Portal (School Preregistration) to begin registration. Once registered, you’ll receive information about the Early Years Evaluation and how to book your child’s appointment. Register early to help support a smooth start to school.

A huge shout-out to Dan Noel of Wyverstone, title sponsor of the Wyverstone Children's Charity Classic marking 10 years this year! We are forever grateful for their steadfast support and gargantuan effort in making this event an annual success and the tournament to be at.

Huge props, too, to the Women's Progress Club of Greater Moncton for their unparalleled organizational skills and their wholehearted belief in our mission and vision, capped by an incredible $50,000 gift to Moncton Headstart.

We're so thankful for the talented summer students we were able to hire this year, and for the chance to give them a real glimpse of the work involved in intervention. They helped us carry on seamlessly through the summer months.

All these student placements were made possible through the Canada Summer Jobs program and NB's Student Employment Experience Development program.

Choosing a swimsuit for your little one this summer? Colour matters more than you'd think.

Bright pink, orange, and neon yellow stay visible underwater. Blues, greys, and whites can nearly disappear; especially in a lake or at the beach.

A bright suit is no substitute for supervision. Always stay within arm's reach of young children in the water. But when seconds count, being easy to spot makes a lifeguard's or parent's job that much easier.

One Moncton Wildcats hockey goal turned into this — bags and bags of bears, bunnies, and even a SpongeBob or two, all waiting for their new best friends. Fans threw them, we caught them, and today these little guys finally made it home. 🎉
