This morning, our sister foundation, the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, held their Annual Campaign Celebration event! 🙌💙

The $120,000 fundraising campaign was focused on upgrading essential emergency care equipment at Horizon Health's Sackville Memorial Hospital—to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and dignified care when they need it most.

It was such a special morning celebrating the donors who supported this campaign and helped SMHF reach their goal.

Ce matin, notre fondation sœur, la Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, a organisé son événement annuel de célébration de la campagne de financement! 🙌💙

Cette campagne de financement, qui a permis de recueillir 120 000 $, visait à moderniser l’équipement essentiel aux soins d’urgence de l’Hôpital Sackville Memorial, qui fait partie du réseau Horizon Health, afin de garantir aux patients des soins rapides, sécuritaires et respectueux de leur dignité lorsqu’ils en ont le plus besoin.

Ce fut une matinée vraiment spéciale, consacrée à rendre hommage aux donateurs qui ont appuyé cette campagne et aidé la SMHF à atteindre son objectif.

The results are in, and this year's Trojan Trek has raised $20,000 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) at The Moncton Hospital!! Go Trojans Go! 🙌👏🎉

This morning, members from the Friends Foundation team, and NNICU staff attended the closing ceremony of Trojan Trek, where Harrison Trimble High School students presented the $20,000 cheque. 💙

A gift rooted in experience 💙

Our team recently had the honour of accepting a $25,000 donation from Darlene Taylor for our Project: Innovate campaign to build a Hybrid OR at The Moncton Hospital. 🙌

Darlene remembers vividly the experience her late husband Bob had when undergoing surgery at The Moncton Hospital. He had to be wheeled out of surgery for imaging and then transported back to the operating room to continue the surgery.

Darlene's donation is a direct reflection of their experience. Her family is supporting the Hybrid OR campaign to ensure that no one else has to experience the scary reality of being wheeled out of surgery to receive imaging.

We are getting closer to reaching our $3 million goal to build the state-of-the-art operating room. Can you help us get to the finish line and bring this vital technology to The Moncton Hospital?

What time is it? Trojan Trek Time! 🕓

Earlier today, students from Harrison Trimble High School proudly carried on a cherished tradition — walking around the school together as part of Trojan Trek! 👏

All proceeds from this meaningful event will support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) at The Moncton Hospital, helping the tiniest patients and their families receive the best possible care. 🍼💖

These are the last few days to support Trojan Trek, as the closing assembly takes place this Thursday, October 22nd.
