Hey everyone,

I’ve had a few people reach out asking if I’ll be doing anything this season, and for the time being, I don’t have anything planned. That said, a friend has started a really great initiative where they’ll be donating tickets every game to current and former military members. I’m absolutely thrilled to see it, and I encourage everyone to give his business page a like and follow along with what he’s doing.

Love seeing more people using Wildcats hockey to give back to the community. ❤️

Hey everyone!

I know it's been a while since I've posted, and to be honest, I’ve struggled to find the excitement to share updates this season. After donating 385 tickets last year, it’s been tough only being able to give away 16 this year.

At the start of the season, I put a call out for sponsors but didn’t quite get the support I was hoping for. I made the decision not to pour too much of my own money into it again as there were other causes I wanted to help this year. That being said, a friend I've met through junior hockey reached out with a personal donation, so I matched it, and together we were able to send 4 families to their first ever hockey game this season.

I'm attaching a photo of a family that attended a game in January. This one was special because they reached out to me after hearing about Al's Pals from friends who attended a game last year and recommended they contact me because they had such a great time. That kind of word-of-mouth is what makes this all worthwhile, knowing the experience meant enough for someone to share it with others.

Last week, I got a few messages saying an Irving-owned company had "stolen" my idea after they brought 150 newcomers to a Wildcats game. Some of the messages poked fun at the fact that the Wildcats publicly acknowledged them multiple times throughout the night, while my group of 156 in November 2023 went without a mention. The truth is, seeing other people or businesses step up to give more people the chance to experience hockey is exactly what I hoped would happen from all the time, effort, and money I put into this last season. This has never been about me, or any business name, it's about getting more people to experience our game and feel welcomed into our community. That’s what truly matters.

Still looking for sponsors!

After last season’s success, where Al's Pals was solely funded by myself, I’m now looking for sponsors to help bring even more people to their first hockey game. But more importantly, I’m looking for families who have never attended a game and would love to experience it for the first time!

If you know a friend, neighbor, or co-worker who would be interested, please let them know about my page and have them contact me. Let’s spread the word and make this season even better! 😊

Thank you all for your continued support!

I've been getting a lot of questions about whether Al's Pals will be returning this season, and I'm thrilled to say that, due to the incredible success we had last year, I'd love to make it happen again!

Last year, the initiative was entirely funded by myself and the generous donations of unused tickets. This season, I'd like to expand and open it up to potential sponsors. If any local businesses are interested in donating tickets or purchasing tickets on behalf of Al's Pals, please reach out to me!

I'm not looking for personal donations—I want to focus on partnering with businesses that I can promote on my page in return for their support. If you'd like to be part of bringing the joy of a first hockey game experience to more people, let's connect! You can send me a private message or email me at **Alspalsmoncton AT gmail DOT com**.

Thank you all for your continued support! 😊

I'm a little late recapping the season, but that's because, on top of being busy with other commitments, I still can't believe what an incredible success this has been. I couldn't have done it without all of your amazing support, whether you reached out, shared my posts, or donated unused tickets.

Originally, I only intended to purchase 144 tickets, and I wasn't even sure I would be able to find enough people to use them. Having been away from social media for a couple of years, I guess I forgot how powerful it could be.

I ended up giving away a total of 385 tickets to 102 families from 39 different countries.

A special thanks to one of my guests, Daniel Felipe Piñeros , who generously donated his time to create an awesome graphic recapping the season. Reach out to him for your graphic design needs!

Yesterday marked the final game of the season, and since I couldn't be there in person, I made the tough decision not to host any guests as I'm currently away on a much-needed vacation! ☺️

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for their unwavering support throughout the season!

I still have pictures from last weekend's games to share with you all upon my return. I'm also looking forward to compiling the data for a final tally on the amount of guests as well as their origin country in the next few weeks.

Cheers! 🌎 🏒

Seven new pals attended last week's game bringing their enthusiasm and energy to the arena! Based on our brief interactions and their positive feedback, these three separate groups were all some of the most enthusiastic I've had as guests. So happy everyone had fun! 😊
