On Friday Aug 14, Club Shades headed to Maison DeJeunes in Dieppe, complete with a true Acadian meal, chicken fricot.

With August 15 marking National Acadian Day, or le 15 août, it felt fitting to share a meal that carries so much history and heritage. Chicken fricot has warmed tables across Acadie for generations, and Club Shades members got to experience a taste of that tradition together.

Happy National Acadian Day to our Acadian community. Vive l'Acadie.

BBQ day at Club Shades. 🫕🥩🔥Our summer student Richardson fired up the grill and served up burgers and hot dogs for everyone last week and this week as well.

Club Shades runs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Come join us for good food and good company. You do not need to be part of any other MCRI program to become a member of our Club Shades. Stop by our office to sign up and purchase for yearly membership. Join us this Wednesday for BBQ at Club Shades.
