From the burning Sahel to the waves of Kribi,
from the mountains of the West to the forests of the East,
every village, every neighborhood, every smile
tells the story of a people standing strong and united.
Bamiléké, Bassa, Fulani, Beti, Sawa, Tikar, Massa, Maka, Bamoun, Anglophone, Francophone…
our differences are not barriers,
they are the richness that makes Cameroon dance to the rhythm of Africa.
When a child laughs in Garoua,
Buea smiles too.
When Douala moves forward,
Maroua hopes.
When Yaoundé prays for peace,
Bertoua answers with brotherhood.
Today more than ever,
let us reject hatred, division, and the wounds of the past.
Let us extend our hands with love, respect, and solidarity.
For one tree alone does not make a forest,
but together, we are a strong, proud, and invincible nation.
May love for one another guide our words.
May unity strengthen our future.
May peace live in every Cameroonian family.
Cameroon, O our beloved homeland,
