Crafts. Our campers love crafts and the craft cabin is always a popular happening spot.

Our program committee always has aimed to plan crafts that can be enjoyed by any age and adapted to any ability. From duct tape wallets to evening paint parties, we love seeing all the amazing creations!

Day 2 of Brain Injury Awareness Month. Learn about Camp Dawn

Camp Dawn is operated entirely by volunteers. Each year we recruit incredible leaders to join us for 4 days at camp.

Our leaders are beyond incredible. Each year they come together, some returning, some new to support the campers and run activities. They give so much of themselves to our program. They grow to love camp.

We love our leaders and are so grateful for each and every one who has joined us over the years.

As we recognize BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH, we will share 30 days of learning about Camp Dawn

Camp Dawn began in 2003, and has been growing ever since. From 12 campers to close to 100 adult brain injury survivors hosted each year. We are the only program of its kind in Canada.

We are operated by a volunteer board of directors (made up from professionals from Southern Ontario) and supported by volunteer leaders.

We are excited to share our program and how camp started, evolved and changed over the years!

Reminder that Camp Dawn camper applications close tonight at 9pm. No applications will be accepted after they close.

Our board of directors will be reviewing every application received and if there are more applications than spaces a lottery system will be used to determine spaces.

Everyone will be informed of their camp status during the week of June 15.

Thank you to everyone who applied. We love how much you embody the spirit of Camp Dawn and we are working so hard to put on the most incredible program this year.
