Welcome To Twelve Canada
We strengthen the leadership teams of social change interventions by facilitating useful evaluations.
Twelve Canada is a registered charity, founded in January 2016, that evaluates social change projects across the country.
Our evaluations take us to emotional, hard-to-reach, parts of communities to uncover stories that inspire leaders to implement bold approaches to generational challenges. Recently, we led an evaluation in post-wildfire Fort McMurray that provided community leaders with the information needed to design new ways of connecting financial resources to people who provide necessary community services.
Gathering good data takes time and money, two things that community projects have little of. As a result, many of the most promising projects stop asking questions before they want to and before they should. When this happens, people become alienated, leaders burn out, and everyone loses faith in the process. In short, change stops.
