If you’ve explored our Community Roots exhibit recently, you might have noticed a new addition to the Wellness Centre! 🌎

Thanks to support from the Raffi Foundation for Child Honouring, our littlest visitors can explore a special zone just for them! This Early Years Play Zone helps create another fun way for little learners and their grown-ups to explore and connect at the London Children's Museum.

Using colourful pony beads, visitors will explore pattern and creativity as they make a beaded keychain to take home.

With their support children have more opportunities to develop real-world skills through building, creating, problem-solving, teamwork, and learning by doing. These experiences help young learners build confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity, all while discovering how their ideas can take shape in the world around them.

In the Discovery Lab, familiar materials can become something completely new! 🌱

Through the Re-Use, Re-Purpose, Re-MAKE Open Studio series, materials from throughout the London Children’s Museum are being given a creative second life:

Dried-out markers, squished Farm Works factory balls, leftover art projects, and more become wildflower seed paper, collaborative art projects, technology explorations and more! 🌟

These hands-on explorations are made possible with support from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. Thank you for helping create more opportunities for playful learning, creative thinking, and care for our environment! 🌎 💚

There’s still plenty of summer left to explore at the London Children’s Museum! ☀️

During August, visitors can build with real architects, make beaded keychains with Mi’kmaq artist Mik Stevens, explore water engineering with the City of London, meet a family of real honey bees with LOLA Bees, celebrate at our Teddy Bear Jamboree, and discover what art and science have in common during a Discovery Lab takeover with STEAM Education Centre!

Plus, we’re open on the Civic Holiday from 9:30am to 4:30pm! 🌱
