Congratulations again to Kirk Holmes, the winner of our Critter Care Baby Season 50/50 Raffle.

We were so happy to celebrate with Kirk, along with Maureen Binnie, President of Critter Care Wildlife Society, Jenna Kuncewicz, Senior Wildlife Supervisor, and Cruella, our resident educational skunk.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets, shared the raffle, and helped spread the word. Your support helps Critter Care continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife across British Columbia.

We are so grateful for the many people who ask how they can help.

One simple way to support us is by checking our wish list. These everyday items make a real difference and help us keep things running smoothly.

For example one of the things we need most is dish soap, and you can see the second graphic for more.

It may seem like a small item, but it helps us with the daily cleaning that keeps our space safe, healthy, and ready for the animals in our care.

Thank you to everyone who gives, shares, and supports us in practical ways. Your kindness helps more than you know.

It is bunny season, and we are seeing a lot of new arrivals right now.

Meet a couple of the tiny patients currently in our care. These little ones look adorable, and they need specialized feeding, warmth, and quiet care to give them the best chance of growing strong enough to return to the wild.

This time of year, it is common to find baby bunnies tucked away in shallow nests. Mom usually only visits a couple of times a day, so a nest that looks unattended may still be perfectly normal.

Thank you for helping us care for these vulnerable little lives.

This week at Critter Care… we have squirrels having fun, and then some new arrivals, including a skunk, and maybe the cutest baby otter you’ve ever seen. They end up in the pool for a swimming lesson. Did you know that we have to teach them to swim?

A heartfelt thank you to Unipharm Wholesale Drugs Limited for their generous $2,500 donation to name Critter Care’s first bear cub of the year.

Thanks to their kindness, the little Maple Ridge bear cub brought to us on April 15 now has a name: Radar.

We are so grateful for Unipharm’s support and for the care they’ve helped provide as Radar grows stronger and continues his journey toward returning to the wild.

We have a winner in our Critter Care Baby Season 50/50 Raffle.

The winning ticket number is # D-20717, and the winner is Kirk Holmes.

Our lucky winner is taking home half of the $63,280 jackpot, for a total prize of $31,640.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, shared the raffle, and helped spread the word. Your support goes far beyond the prize itself. The remaining funds stay right here at Critter Care Wildlife Society, helping us rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildlife across British Columbia.

Because of you, injured and orphaned animals receive medical care, safe shelter, proper nutrition, and a real second chance in the wild.

Congratulations to Kirk, and thank you to our incredible community for making this fundraiser such a success. When you support Critter Care, everybody wins!
