The Members said their final farewell to our brother Larry Oakley. Larry was past President of Langley Elks Lodge #254 for several years and currently involved with the BC Elks. Vern Munroe the current President of the Lodge read the memorial.

On behalf of the B.C. Elks Association's 2024-2025 Executives, it brings me the uppermost sadness ( and with tears rolling down my eyes & face ) to announce the recent passing of our beloved brother, Mr. Larry Oakley, who was also the 3rd Vice-President of the 2024 - 2025 Executive team.

As some of you might be aware, Larry was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, but he is a fighter and everyone was praying for his speedy recovery. Unfortunately, apparently last Thursday on Nov-28-2024, he lost the fight.

May Larry rest in peace and hope he is not suffering anymore.

Larry left behind his caring, lovely wife, Joey.

Our deepest condolence to Joey Oakley and the whole Oakley family on their loss.
