Derby Reach Brae Island Park Association - DRBIPA Fostering stewardship of the land and education within the parks. We are a nonprofit society. This page features photographs taken in and around the parks.

Derby Reach Brae Island Park Association (DRBIPA) works closely with Metro Vancouver Parks to promote education, conservation, and recreation that is compatible with conservation in our Regional Parks. It will highlight our events, accomplishments and exciting plans for the future.

You can tell this group loves the bog!🌾

We had our members bog walk earlier in the day this year, and lucked out with cool yet sunny conditions. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning, and huge thank you to Ted Goshulak and Phil Henderson for teaching us about the interesting history and ecological importance of this spot!

We had our Bird Walk last Friday evening, and the birds of Brae Island did not disappoint!! We even caught a glimpse of a Red-breasted sapsucker swooping in to feed its fledgling!
