“Hola! My name is GRACIE! On March 29, 2026, I was found wandering along a busy roadway called Avenida Central in the State of Mexico. A police officer from the Muzquiz metro station reported seeing me being abandoned from a van. 🚙

I was dirty, covered in fleas, and in heat, which caused other dogs to chase me. Thankfully, a kind family took me in and cared for me for a week before I was spayed and brought into rescue. I’ve been staying at the La Casa Del Mestizo shelter since then, patiently awaiting my chance at my forever home! 🏡

My rescuers say I am an absolute sweetheart and a joy to be around! I’m very social, friendly, and happy to meet new people. I’m a curious little dog who loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys playing with my canine friends. 👯

While I love to have fun, I’m not overly energetic and am equally happy curling up for a nap after some playtime. I’m affectionate and enjoy being petted and spending time with my people. I’m not possessive of my toys or belongings, I’m generally quiet, and loud noises don’t seem to bother me. 🥹

My rescuers believe I was likely someone’s family dog at some point because I am so confident, friendly, and well-socialized. As an added bonus, I am small enough to travel in the cabin on flights! I enjoy walks, playtime, and socializing with other dogs, but I tire out fairly quickly and am happy to relax and nap for much of the day. 😴”

“Hi hoomans! My name is Chance (Chun-Bong in Korea)! I was found abandoned in an empty house in Andong alongside another dog. I had been tied up and waiting for people for a very long time. 😭

Then, some kind angel hooman rescuers found me and were worried about my health and well-being, so they stepped in and rescued me urgently, giving me a second chance at a happy life! 🙏🏼

I’m a naturally affectionate, friendly boy who absolutely loves people. I happily accept pets from strangers and don’t tend to be shy when meeting new hoomans. Once I get to know someone, I’ll lean in close for extra affection and happily soak up all the love and attention I can get. 😘

I’m a total sweetheart who enjoys being held and cuddled, and I love following my people around to see what they’re up to. I enjoy being part of the action and checking in throughout the day, but I’m also respectful of personal space. 🙊

If I see my hooman is busy, I’m perfectly content to settle into my cozy spot and patiently wait until they’re free again. I’m a gentle, loving companion who enjoys both companionship and relaxation, making me a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. 🏡

“Hi friends! My name is Laika (Loretta in Mexico)! I was rescued on December 1, 2024, at just 45 days old. My superhero hooman rescuer heard about me - a tiny puppy found alone wandering on the street. 🥹

Although I showed no signs of physical abuse, it was clear that I had been abandoned by my previous ‘family’. Thanks to my foster hooman’s tender love and care however, I have been able to thrive and grow into the gentle, sweet and loving pup I am today! 🙏🏼

The hoomans around me describe me as a sweet, shy pup with a gentle soul. I am playful, affectionate, friendly, and I get along wonderfully with doggos of all sizes. I have grown into a very obedient and loving companion, who is easily motivated by sausage treats and mangoes. 🌴

Although I can be shy, I love to be around the hoomans and I get super excited when my foster comes home. I always greet them with joy, knowing a big hug is coming. Besides that, I am a calm pup who likes to play with my favourite toys - Plastic bottles, water jug caps, and empty toilet paper rolls! 🧻

“Hiya friends! My name is ERICK (Jenny’s baby boy)! My mommy, 8 siblings and I were left abandoned in Cuautepec, on the outskirts of Mexico City, in an empty lot. My brave mama was tied to our wooden box on the street, huddled closely with me and my eight brothers and sisters. 🥹

Luckily, we were rescued and brought to safety. Even though my mama was very scared, she trusted the kind rescuers to take us all to La Casa del Mestizo shelter. It was a miracle that, despite being left all alone, my siblings and I were all found to be healthy and strong. My mom and I are the last ones to be adopted. 🙏🏼

I have grown up surrounded by love at the shelter, and now I’m looking for a forever home where I can finally become someone’s best friend.I can’t wait to start my next big adventure in Canada and find my forever family! 🏡

I’m a sweet and gentle medium-sized guy who gets along well with humans and other pups alike! I’m a little shy by nature, and loud noises can scare me! I am working on building up my confidence, though, and I allow strangers to approach and pet me. 🐶

“Hola! My name is JENNY! My life hasn’t been a walk in the park so far. I was left tied to a post in an empty area in Cuautepec, on the outskirts of Mexico City, with my 9 puppies. Fortunately, some kind rescuers found us in August 2025 and took us in. 🙏🏼

My rescuers say I was underweight when rescued, having fed my pups without eating myself, and they don’t know how long I had been abandoned. They also think this was my first litter as I was a young pup myself at the time of rescue. 🥹

Since having been rescued, however, life has been on the up and up! My babies and I have loved life at the shelter 😊 Almost all my pups have been adopted in Canada (my son Erick, has just been put up for adoption as well), and now it’s our turn to find our furever families! 🏡

I’m a sweet, easy-going gal who is looking for a relaxing place to call home. If you are seeking a low-energy companion to cozy up with during those crisp Canadian winters, I think I could be your perfect match! 😉

“Hi! My name is SNOW! When I was just a one-month-old puppy, someone adopted me. Unfortunately, I was returned to a city shelter only two months later and was placed on the euthanasia list. 😭

Thankfully, a rescue team stepped in just in time and saved me! Since then, I’ve been safely living at a private shelter facility where everyone has taken amazing care of me while I wait for my furever family! 🙏🏼

Volunteers at my rescue say I’m like a little Snow White, due to my gentle and sweet nature! I can be a bit shy at first in new situations but I warm up quickly and show just how loving and affectionate I really am. 🤗

Since I’m still young, my personality is continuing to blossom every day with love and guidance! Overall, I’m gentle and easygoing with even new people. 💛

I’m still in my puppy phase, so I loooove playing with other doggies! That being said, I also know how to relax and rest calmly after playtime 😊”

It’s always important to think about “breed need” when considering adoption! Please keep in mind that Jindo’s often bond hard and fast with one person and may take a bit longer to warm up to others. Jindo’s are often quite skittish and can be picky about food (although all things improve with patience and time!).

“Hi! My name is ROO! I was found all alone on the streets of Paju, Korea in March 2026. I was taken to a high-risk shelter where my future was uncertain and placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a kind rescue team stepped in just in time and brought me to safety! Since then, I’ve been patiently waiting for a loving family to call my own 😊

I’m a sweet, affectionate boy who truly loves being around people and sharing lots of love! I’m generally comfortable with adults, however I may bark at males or strangers if they approach me suddenly. With slow, gentle introductions, I warm up and love my human friends! 👯‍♀️

Like many poodles, I’m smart and very in tune with my humans – I form close bonds and really enjoy companionship, so I may need a bit of patience and support as I settle in and work through some mild separation anxiety. 😥

I’ve got a medium energy level! I’ve got that typical excited, happy poodle energy, but my lil size makes me easy to handle. I really enjoy playtime with my favourite squeaky toys – bring out the ear plugs hehe! Given my temperament, I may do well with calm, respectful, older (8+) children. As with all dogs, however, I should be supervised around children and should have my space advocated for by adults. 💛”

“Hi! My name is ROHA! I was admitted to the Gimje City Shelter with a severe injury to my front paw, which had been caught in a rat trap. Despite my pain on the day of my rescue, I acted incredibly sweet, begging the volunteers for pets! 🐾

Touched by my affectionate nature, Adogs rescued me to ensure I received the care and love I needed which I am eternally grateful for! I am hoping for a loving family to extend the same love and care to me for life! 🙏🏼

I am very friendly with the ladies, approaching them without hesitation, turning my back to ask for pets. Once I am comfortable with someone, I accept physical affection well and I will welcome them by wagging my tail very hard, which looks like a b***y dance! 🕺🏼

However, my reaction to men can vary. While I sometimes brighten up and take treats from men, I can also show wariness and find touch difficult, even with male staff members I see often. It’s best for men to approach me slowly and give me a bit of extra time. 🫶🏻

I have what you call “medium to high” energy! I can be jumpy and try to seek attention. When there are treats involved, my energy level can rise really fast and I may try to chomp the treats out of your hands heheh! I will need sufficient mental and physical stimulation to tucker myself out! 😴”

SWEET MAN’S DORITO 🐿️

“Hola amigos! My name is DORITO! My story hasn’t been a fairytale so far, but I’m hoping that will change soon! I was found abandoned outside a gated community in Mexico, likely because of my epilepsy. Luckily, a kind rescuer stepped in and took me to a pawsome foster home in November 2025! I’ve been patiently waiting to make a big move to Canada and can’t wait to call it my furever home 😊

I know the word “epilepsy” can sound scary, but I’m here to show you that it doesn’t define me! I have idiopathic epilepsy, which is beautifully managed with medication (which I take like an absolute champ, I must say!) I take Phenobarbital with breakfast and dinner, and Potassium Bromide with dinner.

My foster mom has also incorporated natural, holistic support into my routine, with daily MCT oil and a delicious, frozen sugar-free Greek yogurt lick mat every night before bed – yum!! Thanks to this routine, a healthy weight-control diet, play time and daily walks, I have found my normal and am happily seizure-free so far!

I am a sweet, social, and playful boy! I’m a big fan of car rides and will happily join you for any errand or adventure - as long as you can help me with a lil lift if you have a SUV or truck, as I’m a short legged guy! At the end of the day, all I want is to cuddle up and snooze next to my favourite humans. My foster mom says I’ve shown no resource guarding with my human friends – I’m just a happy go-lucky pup!

My energy level is medium! I absolutely LOVE my toys and spend every morning and evening playing with them for about 20 minutes straight before getting tuckered out and settling down for a well-deserved nap. I’d be so happy to find my forever home!!!😊”
