“Hola friends! My name is BOSCO! In early 2026, a group of puppies and I (including my two siblings, EROS and PRINCIPE) were found after being abandoned in a box on the outskirts of Mexico City. We were immediately brought to the shelter for assessment, where volunteers estimated that we were only two months old. 😩

They also noticed we were quite hungry and fairly malnourished. After receiving proper nutritional support and lots of love and care, those kind humans nursed us back to great health! Today, I’m strong, healthy and happy, and am ready to embark on my big adventure to Canada to find my forever family! 🙏🏼

Like my brothers, I’m a loving and affectionate little guy (though I’m calmer than those little rascals, hehe!) As a young pup who only recently began going outside for walks, I’m still getting used to exploring this big world and can be quite timid in new situations. 😅

I’m comfortable and playful in the shelter with my caretakers and doggie roommates, but far more timid while out on my walks. Despite my hesitancy, I have shown no signs of aggression and even allow strangers to come up and pet me. Overall, I’m an easygoing, cautious but gentle guy, looking for a loving and patient home 😊”

TINY LOUI, BIG CUDDLES, AND SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE! 💙

“Hiya, friends! My name is LOUI! I was rescued from a municipal shelter in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do. My rescuers don’t know too much about my background or upbringing, but I was pretty anxious when they picked me up. I was also quite underweight at the time of my rescue but have been enjoying yummy food since then, gaining a couple of healthy pounds as a result! With the excellent nutrition and care I’m receiving, I’m on track to get to my goal weight of 8-9 pounds 😊

I’m a gentle, friendly little man who loves being around people! I’m comfortable with both men and women and have a sweet, outgoing personality, actively seeking out cuddles whenever I get the chance! Although I crave attention and companionship, I haven’t shown any signs of significant separation anxiety. 🙏🏼

I do, however, occasionally walk in small circles when I’m alone and have nothing else to do. I don’t usually do this when I’m with my puppy friends, on a walk, or am otherwise engaged, so my rescuers think it may be an anxiety-based behaviour. Because of this, I would do best in a loving home where ample interaction is available and I’m not alone for extended periods of time. Having another small canine companion in the home may help build up my confidence and keep me entertained, as well! 😉

My Ideal Home/Adopter Would Be:
🏡 A calm, loving home where I’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship.
❤️ Someone who isn’t away from home for long periods and can provide lots of interaction throughout the day. A patient and affectionate family who will give me time to decompress and settle into my new life!
🐶 A home with a friendly small dog companion would be a wonderful bonus to help keep me company and build my confidence!
🍽️ Someone committed to monitoring my weight and nutrition as I continue reaching my healthy goal weight.”

“Hola! My name is BRILLO! I was named after my mother, Luna. Together, our names mean “moonlight.” Me and my mother were found in a small town in Michoacán, Mexico, called Paracho. My mother had been beaten by a man, leaving her with irreversible injuries. 😭

Despite everything she had been through, she was an incredible mother and cared for me as a baby with everything she had. I was lucky for her care and to have been a healthy puppy! We are so grateful to have been found and eventually my mother had the opportunity to travel to the United States for adoption. I'm still waiting for my forever family and I can't wait to meet them! 🙏🏼

I am a young, active, and playful dog. However, I can be very shy and timid around people at first! As a puppy, I lived in a foster home with my rescuer. Later, I moved to a boarding facility so I could have more space, opportunities for play, and socialization with other dogs. I don't really bark often. I may bark when I'm playing with dog friends but generally not a vocal pup! 🙊

I love all types of toys and treats help motivate me! My ideal adopter would be patient and understanding, someone who will give me time to feel comfortable and build trust; and someone who understands that I can be shy and timid with new people and will let me approach at my own pace. 🚶🏽‍♀️

I would thrive in a home where I will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and positive reinforcement! “Herroooo West Coast! My name is DANNY! I was rescued off the street in Mexico by a veterinarian here, and she made sure I was taken care of right away. My rescuer did say I was quite withdrawn at first, but that's because I didn't have a hooman to take care of me for so long. 😭

I was kinda sad and lonely which totally makes sense. I've been with my rescuer for 3.5 years and still nobody has claimed me.. I think it's because of my colour? Can't be anything else because I'm a kind, sweet and chill boy. 😉

I am truly the best boy (seriously, everyone tells me so!). I am very calm and affectionate and really love being around my hoomans. I like to stay close to my people! When I greet a new hooman I like to bark! Just saying hellooooo 🤗

Also... thunder storms kind of scare me and I rather hide while there is crazy rain outside. I'm a pretty independent boy but I am very affectionate and like being around my hoomans and will come up to you and ask for some snugs. 🙊

I like to play but not all of the time. If you give me a ball then yaaaah I will play and show you all of the love! I’d love to come and spend the rest of my days playing with you! 💛”

“Hey friends! My name is ROCCO and I'm a survivor! My first few years were marked by abandonment as I was left to fend for myself on the busy streets of Guadalajara, Mexico. I spent my days begging strangers for scraps and sipping from toilet bowls (an acquired taste). 😋

I was living a bustling gas station which was a rather dangerous environment for me to be in and I was found with several nasty lacerations on my body to prove it. When some kind souls finally rescued me from this perilous existence, my journey to healing began! 🙏🏼

Over the course of a year, my frail figure and broken soul slowly mended and I was able to pull off a great transformation - not just of the physical kind, but of my spirit as well! My exuberant and loving personality began to show and I started to reflect and return all the heartfelt affection of the people who gave me a second chance at life. My rescuers say my progress towards being the incredible pup I am today is testament to the healing power of love! 😘

I am verrrrry loving and deeply enjoy the company of humans. This also means I can be quite bouncy and energetic around people and I do well with boundaries to remind me that I can't give you hugs ALL the time (dang!). 🤗

I play well with other dogs too although I can be reactive to some male dogs who try to dominate me and would do well with a family who is willing to work on this with me. Luckily for you, my foster family says I am very obedient, smart, and responsive to training...I've learned several commands in training school! 👩‍🏫

I am also the perfect mix of energetic/playful while outside and calm while at home. If you choose to add me to your life I will repay you 1000x with all the kisses and love in the world! 🌏 “

“Hiya! My name is SCOUT! When I was about a year old, my puppies and I were abandoned under a bridge near a busy highway. Quite the scary situation for a new mom and her pups! Thank goodness a kind stranger found us and rushed to get help, but by the time he returned, my puppies were gone and I had been left behind to fend for myself. 😭

As just a young girl, I had already been through so much! Thankfully, I was brought to safety here at the shelter. Turns out I was malnourished and had scabies, but I was brave through it all! I received the medical treatment I needed, and now I’m healthy, healed, and ready for my fresh start! 🙏🏼

I just adore affection from humans! I’ll let you know when I’m ready for some pets, or if I want to play! I'm even happy meeting new people. One of my favorite activities is playing ball, I like to hide the ball for my friends to find! While I’m generally a happy and playful gal, I am sometimes scared by loud noises. You know those emergency vehicles? I’m not a big fan of the sirens! 🚨

My rescuer says I’m a smart gal and can learn commands quickly. I enjoy play time and lots of walkies with my trusted humans! Exercise is a must for me! Now that I’m nice and healthy I also love treats, we get fruits, vegetables and even tortillas here at the shelter and sometimes I ever share! I'm a happy gal awaiting my forever family who will give me all the love, walks, and treats I deserve! 💛”

“Hi friends! My name is Zena ('Zuri' in Mexico)! You're probably wondering how I got here, right? Yup, me too! Well my mama Allegra (adopted recently through WCP) was abandoned by her previous 'family' and living on the streets. 🚏

That's where I was born, right under one of those cars that was undergoing repairs - the safest place she could find for us. I was lucky enough to be rescued by an angel hooman and then go to a foster home with my sister, Rena (who has also been adopted through WCP)! After some time, we were moved to a kennel and although it's nice and all, and we do get to play with other pups, I sure am ready for a furever family of my own! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Like any good puppy, I do get the zoomies and I looooove toys. I am a very sweet little pup - I take after my mama! - but I can be a bit shy at first. When I first got to my foster home I was a timid little bundle of fluff but now that I've gotten older I find that I can adjust more quickly to new environments, like the kennel. 👍🏼

I am a very playful doggo and I really like playing with other dogs! I also love running in nature and playing in the water. I would just LOVE to follow in my mama and sisters footsteps and find a home with you in the Pacific Northwest. 🍁”

“Hellooo West Coast friends! My name is ISLA! I was rescued in 2018 along with my brother, Edan. When we were puppies, we both had skin conditions and needed extra care, but thankfully we received treatment right away and were brought safely to a shelter. 🏡

Since then, I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever family. I haven’t had the chance to go to a foster home yet, but I haven’t lost hope — I know there’s someone out there who will see me for the gentle, affectionate, and loyal companion I am (Edan just went to his forever home last week!!) 🙏🏼

Over the years, I’ve grown into a calm and steady dog with a loving heart. The volunteers say that even though I spent so long in the shelter, I’m still incredibly affectionate and enjoy connecting with everyone who visits (I even like being carried despite my size, hehe). 🤪
