It was a great morning celebrating York Bell-Smith's 60th birthday at Arthur's Pub hosted by the team at MBC Media Classic Rock 107.9. York has been a longtime supporter of United Way, but he's also an incredible community champion, presence, voice, and volunteer.

Port Hope Public Library Canton's Hub Branch is looking bright and beautiful these days. Volunteers from Northumberland Family Health Team and community volunteers brightened up the space with colour giving it a fresh new look on Day of Caring.

Thank you to Andy Thorne, VP of Fuel Services and Operational Excellence at Cameco Ontario for joining us at the kickoff breakfast for a safety talk at our 27th Day of Caring.

Cameco has been with Day of Caring since its inception and through the evolution into the community cornerstone it is today. Cameco has remained a constant: industry sponsor, seat on the Organizing Committee, volunteers rolling up their sleeves, and strong leadership dedicated to our community.
