Sticker #6 is officially on the board! 🎉

Every sticker represents a completed home repair helping a local homeowner maintain a safe and healthy place to live. Our goal is to complete 100 home repairs in 2026, and we're excited to track our progress along the way.

On June 21, we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day and recognize the rich cultures, traditions, knowledge, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At Habitat Northumberland, we believe everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. Housing is more than shelter—it creates stability, opportunity, and a foundation for families and communities to thrive.

Today, we also acknowledge the importance of supporting Indigenous-led solutions to housing challenges. We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity Canada's Indigenous Housing Partnership, which helps strengthen "for Indigenous, by Indigenous" housing initiatives and skills training programs across the country.

As we celebrate, we encourage our community to take time to learn about the history of the land we share, listen to Indigenous voices, and reflect on how we can all contribute to a future built on respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day. ❤️

Habitat in Action week!

From July 13–18, Habitat In Action Week brings local businesses, volunteers, and community members together for a week of hands-on impact. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support families in need right here in Northumberland County.

Choose a day, rally your team, and swap the boardroom for a day of purpose. Whether you're building cedar planters, supporting community repairs, helping at the ReStore, or contributing to sustainability initiatives, every effort helps create stronger, more stable housing in our community.

How to Get Involved:

✅ Register your team (2–10 people)
✅ Choose your preferred day (July 13–18)
✅ Roll up your sleeves and make a real difference

Each volunteer day is designed to inspire teamwork, community impact, and meaningful engagement—all while supporting Habitat's mission.

Spots are limited and are filling quickly.
