Cobourg Scottish Country Dancing We Dance Scottish! Scottish Country Dancing (SCD) was first introduced to Cobourg in the early eighties*.

Later, in1989, seasoned instructors Bob and Allison Reid started classes that ran for a period of ten years – they themselves have just retired from enjoying SCD. The current instructor, Diane Coulombe, started a group locally again in 2018. Since then, weekly classes have taken place in several venues and, post-pandemic, will go back to the spacious gymnasium of an elementary school with a knee-f

riendly floor! Previously, Scotland-trained Diane taught in British Columbia where she also was a member of the Burnaby and Vancouver demonstration teams.
