Learn about the candidates and make your plan to vote! For Municipal Election information, visit your municipality’s website.

Why vote in the Municipal Elections? Our city councils can make housing more affordable, create good jobs, and make it easier to commute to work. They can make sure our parks, libraries, pools and community centres are well maintained. And our local school boards can ensure our public schools are places where our kids can thrive!

The fight to preserve workers' fundamental right to strike continues to grow strong. Today, MoveUP leaders and staff joined others in the BC labour movement to rally outside of Liberal MP Wade Chang's office to call on the government to back down from their proposed amendments to the Canada Labour Code that attack our right to strike.

As part of our national union's continued effort, President Annette Toth has sent a letter to leaders of all the major federal parties, including Prime Minister Mark Carney, and every Liberal MP.
