Join us at The Landing for another Two Good Tuesday - our monthly lunch series that celebrates the family meals and generational flavours behind our beloved Two Good team, around a shared table that brings people together over heartfelt food and meaningful connections.

October’s edition celebrates a produce-forward lunch presented with Meredith Dairy showcasing their beloved goat's cheese and their prize-winning Capretto - a delicacy on tables across the Mediterranean and Europe (as well as the menus of Mike McEnearney and Peter Gilmore). Raised slowly and cared for well, Capretto reflects a farm that does right by everything it produces, letting nothing good go to waste.

The best part? Every ticket directly funds Two Good Co’s work empowering and employing women living in crisis.

Shared tables. Generational recipes. Stories carried through ingredients.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Matalau's Two Good Tuesday lunch last week! It was lovely to have so many locals, leaders and community organisations in the room - sharing food, stories and a bit of time together.

That’s really what Two Good is here for: creating spaces where people doing good work can connect and feel supported.

With every Love + Care Pack or Throw or gift donated to women's refuges, we include a reply-paid postcard; an invitation to share their story, or their feedback. A chance to feel seen, and heard, and celebrated.

Every postcard we receive is shared throughout the organisation - and every time, it reminds us of why it matters. A comfort meal for when she's exhausted; aromatic shower products for when she needs a reset.

These every day moments are so small that we can easily take them for granted - but sometimes, they're the details that make someone feel alive again.

We joined .girls.emergency.centre as they raised over $1.2MIL to provide safety and healing for women and children escaping violence; a testament to what happens when communities rally together to build a better world.

Thousands of Good Cuppas handed out, $4,478 raised through our Two Good team, and thousands of collective steps taken in solidarity of ending violence against women and children at this year's event. A huge thank you to all who donated, walked and poured coffees for a cause so close to our hearts.

We hope that one day, these services will no longer be needed. Until then, we are honoured walk alongside survivors…and never forgot those who have lost their lives.

“I hope to bring the taste of Papua New Guinea to the table, as well as an experience that is special and memorable.

I’ll be serving a traditional menu celebrating coconut, a main ingredient in our traditional cooking, with its earthy, creamy flavours adding a grounded touch to each dish:

- Mumu, a banana leaf-wrapped parcel of root vegetables like sweet potatoes, taro and plantain, chicken and leafy greens
- Bariva, a traditional dish cooked for special occasions
- Cassava Cake”

“Cooking is an art; an expression. Cooking is my passion.

I grew up in Papua New Guinea, where food is always fresh, organic and available. It is an important part of my culture; something that brings everyone together.

I started cooking at an early age, cooking for my family and catering for events at church. It really clicked when I started learning how to cook different traditional dishes - including my signature Cassava Cake, which I’ll be baking for my Two Good Tuesday menu.

I hope to see you around our lunch table.”

Join us for a two-hour session delivered by Associate Professor Corey Tutt OAM and Vince Scott from DeadlyScience as we explore fish traps as powerful examples of First Nations engineering, blending physical science, sustainability and cultural knowledge at The Landing.

Learn about caring for Country and the deep scientific knowledge embedded in cultural practice through a hands-on, collaborative model-building in simulated river and coastal systems, and a shared lunch featuring ingredients from Indigiearth.
