For about 100 years, this bridge carried trains of the Victorian Government Railways over the Ovens River at Bright, in the states North East. For the majority of that time, they were steam hauled.
Today, 40 something years after the railway closed, a coal burning steam engine once again puffed and chuffed its way across the structure. Kinda special!
