Congratulations to SYJO members on some outstanding results at Jazz Quest at Merimbula Jazz Festival. Everyone played fantastically well, and some won prizes:

Noah Lane (tenor sax) 2nd
Wren Costello (vocals) 3rd
Miles Street (trombone) 4th

JUNIOR (u15)
Jackson Packer (alto sax) 1st
Nic Weatherall (alto sax) 2nd

JWA student Marco Ostali (alto) was 4th in Jr section.

SYJO's first Merimbula Jazz Festival set for 2026 in Club Sapphire. Excellent playing and a great audience. Next gigs: 9:30am tomorrow at Waterfront Cafe; 1pm RSL club.

This festival is always a brilliant opportunity for us and so much fun
