More giving is good. And where it lands matters.

Australia wants to double giving by 2030. Great! But more money in the system does not automatically mean more funding reaches grassroots organisations.

That takes trust. Pathways. Vetting. Coaching. Connection.

That takes TFN.

Fuel the work that helps generosity reach the grassroots.

Yi Fan draws on a decade of community development experience across Australia, the Pacific, Asia and Africa. As General Manager of The River Nile Learning Centre, she supports refugee, asylum seeker and migrant women to overcome barriers to education, wellbeing and community connection through free, community-led programs.

At TFN's Equity & Inclusion Melbourne event, Yi Fan will pitch for support to remove practical barriers that prevent women from accessing education and essential services, including transport, food relief and wraparound support.

By making these programs more accessible, more women can build confidence, strengthen independence and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

What happens when a community comes together to back First Nations-led solutions?

Six months ago, our community raised an incredible $274,046 through the First Nations Crowdfunding Event. Here's what that support has helped make possible.

๐Ÿ‘ถ Coolamon Community has expanded into the Kimberley, delivering almost 40 Coolamons every month across eight locations. More families in remote communities now have access to safe sleep spaces, baby essentials and culturally affirming resources.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Woganurra Aboriginal Corporation has begun refurbishing the Goondee in Lightning Ridge, creating a stronger space for language revitalisation, truth-telling, cultural learning and local employment.

๐Ÿƒ Deadly Runners is developing a new trail running event on Country, creating opportunities for leadership, employment and connection while inviting more people to experience the power of running on Country.

Thank you to everyone who donated, attended, shared and believed in the power of collective giving.

Six months ago, our community raised $121,290 for women and girls across the Asia-Pacific. Here's what that's made possible. ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿงต Sewing the Seeds Project worked alongside local leaders in Khatu Shyam to establish a new sewing centre and education program.

๐Ÿฅ In Cambodia, EveryMum expanded their maternal health program into a new province, training midwives across five additional health centres.

โ™ป๏ธ In the Solomon Islands, Positive Change for Marine Life's Waste to Wealth program is keeping local women in paid leadership roles, turning environmental action into economic opportunity.

This is what collective giving looks like in action. Thank you to everyone who pitched in, showed up, and believed in the power of community funding.
