💙 Every dollar changes a life 💙

As the end of the financial year approaches, we’re asking for your help to give more greyhounds the second chance they deserve.

Every week, greyhounds arrive in our care, some need medical treatment, some need rehabilitation.

All of them need time, patience and love.

Because of supporters like you, the hounds in our care learn what it means to be safe, loved and part of a family.

This year, we’ve celebrated incredible adoptions, comforted nervous new arrivals, provided veterinary care, training, enrichment and thousands of meals. But there are still so many hounds waiting for their chance.

Before June 30, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue our mission statement:

📣 Myrtle has found her forever home 📣

After more than 1000 days in our care, Myrtle’s wait is finally over 🥹❤️

From the moment she arrived with us as a tiny baby, we dreamed of the day someone would see just how special she is.

And now… she’s home 🏡

We honestly cannot put into words how happy we are for her. Her new family are absolutely perfect and we know Myrtle is going to spend the rest of her life surrounded by love 🫶🏼

It truly takes a village to rehabilitate a hound like Myrtle!

Seeing a dog who waited over 1000 days finally walk out the door with her forever family is something we’ll never stop celebrating 🥹

Your greyhound doesn’t know what you weigh. They don’t know how much money you earn, what car you drive, or what mistakes you made this week.

They don’t know if you’re successful, struggling, overwhelmed or exhausted.

They just know you’re home 🖤

To them, you are safety. You are comfort. You are their whole world.

On your hardest days, your greyhound is still waiting at the door like you’re the greatest thing that’s ever happened to them 🥹

Maybe that’s why greyhounds heal parts of us we didn’t even realise were hurting ❤️‍🩹

One of the best things about adopting a rescued greyhound is watching them go from unsure and cautious… to completely owning the house (and your furniture).

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍

This very good boy Benny has now spent 393 days at our Rescue Centre 💔

That’s 393 days of:

📌 Sleeping in a kennel environment
📌 Not knowing the comfort of a home
📌 Waiting for his forever humans
📌 Missing the chance to experience a calm home environment

Benny deserves more than this. He deserves a couch, a family, soft blankets and someone to love him for the beautiful boy he is 🥹

Benny will need someone who can respect his space and take things very slow with him 🖤

Once you’ve earned his trust, he will become your very best friend.

To help set Benny and his future family up for success, we’ll also provide support from a professional force-free trainer to help you become the best of friends 🥹
