The Mini Kitty Commune are not your average rehoming organisation, we provide quality outcomes for rescued cats and kittens. This means indoor homes, high quality food, the leading vaccinations and all animals are desexed before adoption. We maintain relationships with our adopters, sponsors and volunteers so that the cats have the best outcome. We are a no kill organisation that helps hundreds of

abandoned and neglected cats. 100% of your donations go to the animals in vet bills, food, medical supplies and housing equipment. We don’t have fancy offices, committees or expensive wages and our staff are all volunteers. By donating or bequesting to the MKC, you can be sure your money goes to good use to helping those that cant help themselves. We also help other foster carers who are rescuing across NSW by assisting with marketing and support to rehome. These guys are doing it tough, they are the real face of rescue and normally have been begged and pushed to take on animals then left with no help. We do not charge carers/rescuers anything. Our reward is helping the cats find homes and making space at the carers

We cant pay your vet bills for you . . Occasionally you will see us promote a fund raise that someone else has set up but that is rare. Im sorry, we get asked nearly every day to pay peoples vet bills for them (sometimes from Vets!) and we just cant. We have a single kitten rule, we dont adopt kittens without a companion cat. Kittens are social animals and their behavioural development and social welfare can be compromised if they do not have another cat to learn and grow with. Dear sweet Mae was returned back into our care recently. Nothing but respect for her former owners, sometimes situations can become difficult and it was in Mae's best interest to find another loving home 🥰

Mae is a beautiful smoochy girl who is always happy to see you! She will rub around your legs hoping for those delicious pats she just can't get enough of.

Mae 2 years old (she's a Leo star sign ♌️) and she still loves playing and pouncing! Spring toys, cardboard scratchers and wand toys make her leap with joy 🤗 she also loves rolling around and showing her cute round tummy (every body is a beach body amiriiiight)

She is a 10-year-old cuddle expert looking for my forever human.
If you're searching for a cat who loves affection, I might just be your girl.
She adores sitting on laps, snuggling on the lounge, and curling up in bed.
Her happy place is wrapped, snuggled into her foster mummy’s arms.
She has been described as 97% angel 😇 and 3% spicy 🌶️
The spicy part just keeps life interesting!
When she is not supervising cuddle time, she will be stretched out in a sunny spot, watching the birdies outside the window.
She also enjoys playtime with my foster mummy and she makes sure to greet her at the door when she comes home.
Visitors are exciting too, she is always keen to say hello and have a pat.
Kiki would love a calm, child-free home where she can be the centre of your world. Other animals aren't really her thing.

🖤 Meet Ellie & Eliza – The Queens of Cuddles and Purrs 🖤

Double the kittens, double the love, and double the purrs!

Ellie (who has the darker nose) and Eliza are two gorgeous sisters who spend their days racing through tunnels, wrestling on the bed, and chasing their favourite toys. Once they’ve worn themselves out, they’ll happily climb onto your lap and melt into a purring puddle of fluff.

Eliza is the life of the party with a personality as big as her heart. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which means she’s a wonderfully wobbly kitten—but don’t tell her that! Nothing slows this little adventurer down. She may not always walk in a straight line but she walks with swagger.

She loves climbing her low cat towers and can easily get onto low lounges and beds. For anything higher, a simple ramp is all she needs to stay close to her beloved humans. Eliza embraces life with confidence, curiosity, and endless determination.

Ellie is her gentle, sweet-natured sister. Soft as a cloud and light on her feet, she’ll quietly appear on your lap and begin purring before you even realise she’s there. She’d make the perfect work-from-home assistant—or the perfect excuse to cancel your plans.

Mojito is calm, kind and incredibly affectionate. She loves nothing more than curling up on your lap, sleeping on your chest or snuggling around your legs. She’s happy to be picked up and cuddled, and if you’re bent over, don’t be surprised if she jumps onto your back just to give your head some extra love!

This sweet girl is also quite the little communicator. She’ll happily let you know when she needs food, fresh water, a clean litter tray or, most importantly, some affection.
