The Mini Kitty Commune are not your average rehoming organisation, we provide quality outcomes for rescued cats and kittens. This means indoor homes, high quality food, the leading vaccinations and all animals are desexed before adoption. We maintain relationships with our adopters, sponsors and volunteers so that the cats have the best outcome. We are a no kill organisation that helps hundreds of

abandoned and neglected cats. 100% of your donations go to the animals in vet bills, food, medical supplies and housing equipment. We don’t have fancy offices, committees or expensive wages and our staff are all volunteers. By donating or bequesting to the MKC, you can be sure your money goes to good use to helping those that cant help themselves. We also help other foster carers who are rescuing across NSW by assisting with marketing and support to rehome. These guys are doing it tough, they are the real face of rescue and normally have been begged and pushed to take on animals then left with no help. We do not charge carers/rescuers anything. Our reward is helping the cats find homes and making space at the carers

We cant pay your vet bills for you . . Occasionally you will see us promote a fund raise that someone else has set up but that is rare. Im sorry, we get asked nearly every day to pay peoples vet bills for them (sometimes from Vets!) and we just cant. We have a single kitten rule, we dont adopt kittens without a companion cat. Kittens are social animals and their behavioural development and social welfare can be compromised if they do not have another cat to learn and grow with. If you’re looking for a cat who genuinely loves being part of your day, Tucker will just be your perfect match.

Tucker is the definition of a love bug. Whatever you’re doing, he’ll want to be involved. Folding laundry? Tucker is supervising. Making dinner? Tucker is helping. Entertaining visitors? Tucker is right there making sure everyone feels welcome. He simply loves being around his people and will almost always be somewhere within your line of sight.

At just 8 months old, Tucker has a wonderfully easy-going nature. He’s quiet, low maintenance, and not at all fussy. His favourite place to sleep is curled up in the hammock of his cat tower, although he’s equally happy to dramatically flop down wherever he happens to be when nap time calls.

Tucker is the kind of companion who makes a house feel like home. His gentle presence, affectionate nature, and constant desire to be near his humans make him truly special company.

💕Pepper is part of a very special group of sisters Miso, Ink, & Moo who have grown up doing absolutely everything together. They sleep in a pile, play as a team, investigate every mysterious noise as a group, and somehow even seem to coordinate their toilet breaks. Life is simply more fun when you’re sharing it with your sisters.

💕Pepper loves cat towers, adores the human bed, and comes running the second the handheld laser toy appears—often before it’s even switched on. When you sit down with her and her sisters, you’ll quickly discover they all take turns seeking affection, making sure nobody misses out on pats, kisses, or cuddles.

💞Miso is the kind of kitten who believes every adventure is better when shared💞

💞She and her sisters Pepper, Ink & Moo are a wonderfully bonded little team. They nap together, play together, race to investigate every interesting sound together, and scatter together if something unexpectedly loud happens. Their connection is truly lovely to watch.

💞Miso is confident, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves stretching out on the human bed, conquering cat towers, and chasing the laser toy with endless enthusiasm. The mere sight of the toy is often enough to have her ready for action.

💖Ink is a confident little girl who approaches life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a healthy appreciation for cuddles.

💖She has grown up alongside her sisters, Pepper, Miso & Moo forming a bond that is impossible to miss. Together they sleep, play, explore, and keep each other company throughout the day. Whether they’re investigating a new noise or racing after a toy, they’re usually doing it side by side.

💖Ink loves cat towers, soft beds, and spending time with her humans. The family laser toy is a firm favourite, and she’ll happily join the excitement the moment she thinks a game might be starting.

💖Despite her playful side, Ink is also wonderfully affectionate. She enjoys pats, kisses, and attention, often taking her turn alongside her sisters to make sure she gets a little one-on-one time. 💝These girls are the definition of a team. They sleep together, play together, investigate together, and somehow manage to coordinate much of their day as one fluffy unit. If one runs to see what’s happening, the others are never far behind.

💝Moo loves climbing cat towers, stretching out on the human bed, and joining in every game she can. The handheld laser toy is one of her favourite things in the world, and she’ll come running the moment she suspects playtime is about to begin.

Nothing makes my heart soar more than when you meet a kitten, they are feeling stressed and scared... All for a few days later to be cuddling up on your lap purring their little head off 😍 that was our boy Chalky!!

🚨 Urgent Medical Support Needed for Cece & Roy 🚨

We urgently need your help to cover the cost of bilateral eye removal surgery for blind juvenile Cece and her buddy Roy.

Cece and Roy were rescued from a heartbreaking situation where 15 cats were trapped inside an abandoned property without adequate food or care after their original carer was evicted.

When rescued, Cece weighed only 2.2kg and was severely underweight plus other alarming health conditions such as inflamed gums, rotten teeth and ingrown nails.

Cece requires bilateral eye removal surgery, which is estimated to cost approximately $2,000. This is a major expense for our rescue, and any contribution, no matter how small, will help us give her the pain-free future she deserves.

Both kitties now require ongoing veterinary treatment, as well as nutritious food to help them regain their strength and recover.

Cece and Roy were among the first cats rescued from this heartbreaking situation. Their journey to recovery has only just begun, and they need our help now more than ever.

Due to privacy reasons, we are unable to share too many details about this rescue. However, we can confirm that numerous malnourished and unwell cats were found inside the property, with a further 20 cats living outside in similarly difficult conditions.

We are working alongside two other reputable rescue groups and dedicated local residents to help these vulnerable cats. Together, more than 15 cats have already been brought to safety, but the vet bills are significant, and we urgently need support with both medical expenses and foster care.
