What an incredible evening at the Madalah x AISWA Future Footprints Graduation Ceremony, held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 3rd September. 🎓
Bringing together students, coordinators, corporate partners and staff, the evening celebrated our Year 12 students and recognised the dedication, resilience and self-determination that brought them to this milestone.
The evening commenced with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Nick Abraham, followed by a performance from Wesley College. Guided by MC and Madalah alumnus Khyan Townsend, we came together to celebrate the Class of 2026 and hear from our graduates about their experiences, challenges and achievements.
Derell reflected on his time in the Madalah program, sharing:
“I count myself lucky to be a part of this program, and even luckier to meet new people who will have an impact on my life forever.”
Kira-Lee spoke about her personal growth and the resilience and self-determination she developed throughout her schooling, supported by her school community.
Their stories were a powerful reminder that every graduate has their own journey. Their achievements are theirs alone, and we have simply had the privilege of being part of the journey. 💙🧡
