After four months as Interim CEO, we’re pleased to announce Tania Hudson as Chief Executive Officer of Committee for Perth for a five-year term. During her time in the interim role, Tania demonstrated thoughtful leadership and a deep commitment to independent ideas to shape Perth's future.

Ms Hudson brings to the role a distinguished career spanning journalism, banking, resources, philanthropy, and the arts; with deep expertise in communications, governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership.

What keeps you up at night?

That was the question guiding conversation at our second annual Gold Leaders Dinner, held at the extraordinary .

Executive leaders from our Gold Member and Board cohort came together to reflect on the opportunities and challenges shaping Perth’s future — from education and energy literacy, to media trust, Asian trading partnerships, Perth Airport’s $5+ billion expansion, and the role Committee for Perth plays as a trusted convener of these critical conversations.

The insights were generous, the discussion thoughtful, and the setting truly golden.

In a world where time is an increasingly precious resource, even more so than gold, we are deeply grateful to those who chose to spend an evening sharing their ideas, experience and ambition for Perth’s future.

🚴‍♂️ We’ve cycled through all the latest stories about developments, activities and events having a positive impact on Perth, and the Perth Update newsletter is now live!

This month’s edition features a quick check‑in from our CEO, .hudson , filmed just before she headed down St Georges Terrace to join the BusWest Corporate Cycling Challenge last week, contributing to a record-breaking distance of 1,670.4km ridden in total.

Together with 80 business leaders, the Challenge raised over $32,000 for , an organisation delivering mental health services and programs to support at-risk young people.

’s Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor exhibition is exclusive in every sense of the word. With 90% of the objects on display never before seen in Australia – and some never having left China – we are incredibly fortunate to have this exhibition here in Perth, and even more so to have welcomed members to an exclusive viewing this morning.

Immersive digital experiences, extraordinary craftmanship of ancient China on display, and the fascinating journey through the life – and afterlife – of Qin Shihuang, make this exhibition unmissable.

When the movers need a shake.

On the eve of the 2050 Summit: Championing a Plan for Perth, Committee for Perth hosted the Movers & Shakers sundowner at the stunning Crystal Club at Crown Towers. The evening brought together leaders from across Perth’s key industries, people not just imagining our city’s future, but actively shaping it.
