What a wonderful way to wrap up our Business Connect series for 2026!
Our final Business Connect of the year brought together members, business professionals and friends of the Italian-Australian business community for a fantastic evening of networking, meaningful connections, great conversations and, of course, Italian hospitality at the beautiful rooftop Storehouse Subiaco at Vibe Hotel Subiaco.
It was particularly encouraging to see so many young professionals and women in attendance, bringing fresh perspectives, new energy and diversity to our growing business community. This is exactly the kind of inclusive, vibrant and dynamic network we are proud to foster!

Subiaco shares a fascinating historical connection with Italy. The suburb takes its name from Subiaco, a town near Rome associated with the Benedictine monastic tradition, from which the monks who established the original monastery in Perthโs Subiaco originated.
It was therefore particularly fitting to bring our Italian-Australian business community together in the heart of Subiaco, celebrating a connection that stretches back to the suburbโs very beginnings.
We were also honoured to welcome the Consul of Italy in Perth, Federico Nicolaci, and Vice Consul, Emilio Sessa. We thank them for their remarks and continued support of our Chamber.
A highlight of the evening was a wonderful surprise performance by tenor Vin Trikeriotis, who captivated our guests and brought a truly memorable touch of Italian culture and music to the night!
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all our members, sponsors and guests who have supported our Business Connect events throughout 2026. Your enthusiasm, participation and willingness to connect are what make these gatherings so successful.
