✨ Sisters Hand in Hand has officially moved ✨

We want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. Whether you visited, donated, volunteered, shopped with us, attended one of our programs or simply showed your support.

We are now preparing for our next chapter, and while we are not quite ready to share all the details just yet, we are very excited about what is ahead.

There is still plenty happening behind the scenes as we get everything ready, and we ask for your continued support and patience during this transition.

Please note that we are no longer operating from our previous office in Canningvale.
Please DO NOT drop any donations or items there, as there will be no one on site to receive them.

If you need to contact us, arrange a donation, access support or have any questions, please get in touch with us directly and we will be happy to assist.

We look forward to sharing more with you soon and welcoming you into this next chapter of Sisters Hand in Hand 🤩

⭐ HELP US COMPLETE OUR STAR WALL BY SUNDAY EVENING ⭐

Today, members of our beautiful community began purchasing stars from our donation wall, and we would love to see every single star gone by Sunday evening.

Each star has a different donation amount; $10, $20, $50 and $100 and every star purchased will go towards the much-needed costs of supporting our women and children in our refuge and their life with us and after they settle on their own feet.

To everyone who purchased a star today, thank you. Your generosity may look like one small star on a wall, but behind that star is real support for a woman or child who needs safety, stability and the opportunity to rebuild.

If you would like to purchase a star, you can:

⭐ Visit our office tomorrow or Sunday between 10:00am and 5:00pm, or
⭐ Send us a private message with the amount of the star you would like to purchase.

Our goal is simple: By Sunday evening, we want this wall completely cleared.

Please help us make it happen for the women and children of our refuge 🤲🤩

🚨 $7,000 RAISED — AND HERE’S YOUR FIRST SNEAK PEEK! 🚨

Alhamdulillah, we have now raised $7,000 towards our $50,000 campaign for the new Sisters Hand in Hand Community Hub.

📸 The photo attached is your first little glimpse of the actual space.

As we move closer, we’ll begin revealing more — the different areas, what they will become, and the services and opportunities that will operate from within them.

Imagine, all under one roof:

✨ Case management and practical support
✨ A walk-in food pantry
✨ Furniture and household essentials
✨ Youth engagement and safe spaces
✨ Employment pathways, training and volunteering
✨ Mediation and family support
✨ Skills, confidence and independence for women

And so much more.

What makes this hub so special is that your donation doesn’t just support one person or one case, it helps create a space that can support hundreds of people, again and again.

One donation can help a family access food today, a woman receive case management tomorrow, a young person join a program next week, and someone find an employment opportunity in the future.

The impact goes far beyond one donation.

💛 $7,000 raised
🎯 $50,000 goal
⏳ $43,000 left to raise in a very short time

Every $5, $20, $50, $100, $200 or more brings us closer and becomes part of the long-term impact this hub will have on our community.

🚨🚨 URGENT SUPPORT NEEDED 🚨🚨

THIS ISN’T A BIGGER OFFICE.
IT’S A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY OF SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY. A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!

Imagine a woman walking through one door and finding everything she needs to begin rebuilding her life!

A full walk-in food pantry where families can choose what they actually need.

A large training hub filled with computers and resources where women and young people can build real skills.

A huge op shop where women can gain hands-on retail and employment experience.

A boutique supporting local women to display, promote and sell their own products.

A warehouse capable of holding furniture and household essentials for families starting again.

A youth hub where young people can belong, connect and feel supported.

Spaces for seminars, business development, counselling, coaching, meditation, wellbeing and workshops.

And professional case management connecting it all together.

Imagine coming in for case management, leaving with food for your family, furniture for your home, enrolling in training, accessing counselling and beginning a pathway towards employment — all under ONE roof.

That is what this opportunity represents and honestly! SO MUCH MORE!

We are not asking you to fund four walls.
We are asking you to help us remove the walls that have been limiting how much we can do.

These services are already in place but now with the need growing, we are needing to support so many more families!

The opportunity we have been waiting for is finally here.

Now we need our community to help us make it happen. Our team is beyond passionate about the need for this, because it's the young boy who finally started opening up about his trauma, it's the woman who is so incredibly proud of herself for gaining a new skill, it's the husband and wife who sit in our counselling room, working through their troubles, it's the families who get to choose their food shop for the week and feel a huge sense of dignity restored. It's THIS and SO MUCH MORE!

You're not donating to 1 family, you're donating to HUNDREDS!

Together we can! Together we have to! 🤲🏽

While the deadline has been extended for 1 more week, we will not get anymore time! This is for the WHOLE community, join today and be a part of the growth! 🌱

🌟 MEET OUR FIRST COMMUNITY CONNECTORS 🌟

Today we are incredibly proud to introduce the first round of Sisters Hand in Hand Community Connectors. 🤝💗

These are everyday members of our community who have chosen to step forward and become part of something bigger.

Our Community Connectors are helping us take the work of Sisters Hand in Hand beyond our doors and directly into the community, speaking to their families, friends, workplaces, businesses, schools and wider networks about who we are, the families we support, and how people can get involved.

They are not just volunteers.

They are a bridge between Sisters Hand in Hand and the community.

Through conversations, connections, fundraising, donations, introductions and simply spreading awareness, every Connector has the ability to open a door, reach new people and create opportunities for greater community impact.

As Sisters Hand in Hand continues to grow, so does our vision for what can be achieved when people across our community are informed, connected and given meaningful ways to get involved.

It takes a community to strengthen a community.

Our first Community Connectors have now completed their introductory training and are ready to get out there, start conversations, build connections and help mobilise our community into action.

To each of you who stepped forward for this first round, thank you.

Thank you for giving your time.
Thank you for lending your voice.
Thank you for opening your networks.
And most importantly, thank you for believing in the work we are doing.

And this is only Round One! 💗

We hope to see Community Connectors right across Perth, each reaching people within their own circles and creating a powerful ripple of connection, awareness and support.

Would you like to be part of our next round of Community Connectors?

If you are passionate about your community, enjoy connecting with people and would like to use your networks to help create meaningful change, we would love to hear from you.

Contact Sisters Hand in Hand to register your interest in the next Community Connector round.

🚨 URGENT!! 🚨
$50,000. 7 DAYS. ONE HUGE OPPORTUNITY

We have just ONE WEEK to raise $50,000 and secure an incredible opportunity for our community.

An opportunity like this doesn't come around often. We have been given a golden opportunity to create something that has never been done before for Perth community and we now have seven days to make sure we don't lose it.

We've been here before.

When Sisters Hand in Hand needed $30,000 to establish our Women's & Children's Refuge, we turned to our community.

YOU made it happen! Now, hundreds of women and children have benefited from YOUR charity 🤲

What started with a $30,000 target became a place of safety, support and new beginnings for women and children who desperately needed it.

Now we're asking you to stand behind us again for something EVEN bigger.

We need $50,000 in 7 days.

This is bigger than Sisters Hand in Hand. This is for our entire community, your families and your future.

If thousands of us give what we can $20, $50, $100, $500 or more, we can secure this opportunity before the seven days are over.

Please don't wait until the final day.

Donate today. Share today. Speak to your family, friends and businesses today!

Last time, our community helped us create a refuge. Now? Our community can help us create a JOINT venture that benefits EVERYONE!

This time, we have the opportunity to make history.

Let's make it happen to avoid missing this crucial opportunity!

🚨 You watched the video, now let's rebuild together🚨

She thought she was getting on that plane with her family.

She didn't speak English. She didn't understand what was happening. After years of abuse and being prevented from building independence of her own, her husband put her in the car, took her to the airport and placed her on a plane.

She believed he was coming with her.

It wasn't until she turned around and realised he wasn't there that she understood, he got rid of her once and for all.

She cried for the entire flight.

Today, she is here in Western Australia, trying to make sense of what has happened to her and trying to rebuild a life she was never given the opportunity to build for herself.

The abuse didn't end when that plane landed.

She still lives with the trauma. She still wakes from nightmares. She is learning how to navigate life without the independence, English skills and financial security many of us take for granted.

There are parts of her story and her current circumstances that, for her privacy and safety, we simply cannot share.

But there are things we can do.

We can help her learn to drive, so she no longer has to depend on someone else to get from one place to another.

We can support her medical and recovery expenses, that are much needed.

We can help with her everyday living costs while she finds her feet.

We can give her the dignity of walking into a shop and purchasing her OWN hygiene products, something so ordinary to many of us, but something she was never given the financial freedom to do for herself and was often shamed for even asking.

And most importantly, we can help her discover that her life still has purpose, that she belongs here, and that after everything she has endured, there can still be a life ahead of her that is hers!

We want to help this sister move from simply surviving each day to becoming independent and self-sufficient.

This is one woman we can genuinely change the future for.

Please watch her story on our previous video. Please share it. And if you are in a position to give, please donate. Whether it's $10, $50, $100 or more, together we can give her something that was taken from her for far too long:

Choice. Independence. Dignity.
