What a night! 💫 Earlier this week, we celebrated our long-standing connection with Noongar Elder Dale Tilbrook, joining WA not-for-profit Prepare Produce Provide to host the inaugural From Country to the World bushfoods and cultural showcase.

The event brought together students, Elders, bushfoods specialists, educators and hospitality leaders to celebrate First Nations food culture and create pathways for young people through food, education and cultural leadership.

Funds raised will support a First Nations youth delegation to attend Terra Madre 2026 in Italy - the world’s largest gathering celebrating food culture, sustainability and Indigenous knowledge.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this wonderful initiative - we couldn’t be prouder to have collaborated on such a special event.

Monday night was an incredible vibe! A massive thank you to everyone who showed up, brought the energy, and made our fundraiser such a success.
While Monday was a huge step forward, the hard work isn't over yet. We are still actively raising funds to get our students to Terra Madre in Turin, Italy.
This is a life changing opportunity for First Nations youth to step onto a global stage, share their culture and story, and represent their community internationally.
If you weren't able to make it on Monday or want to keep the momentum going you can still show your support by donating to our GoFundMe page.
Every contribution helps get these amazing young people to Italy.
Thank you for backing our youth and supporting such an important cause!

Running a service for 50+ guests is no small feat, but the students cooking at next Monday's fundraiser have some serious backup.

Prepare Produce Provide is taking over Mandoon Estate next Monday night 17 August, where seasoned Chefs Michael Hartnell, Anthony Power, Rohan Park, and Peter Tischhauser alongside the Australian Culinary Federation team will be right there in the kitchen, guiding these young chefs on the pass. They’re teaming up to put out a brilliant menu centred around WA secondary school bushfoods competition. This is all to help send our First Nations youth leaders to Slow Food Terra Madre in Turin.

It’s going to be a fantastic night of food, story, and culture, and a real chance to back the next generation of culinary talent. Grab a ticket and come join us! - link in the comments to secure your seat!

From Country to the world stage!
We’re heading to Terra Madre 2026 in Turin, Italy—and we need our community behind us to get these young leaders there.
On the 17th August join us at Mandoon Estate to support our First Nations youth, emerging chefs, and community leaders as they get ready to represent Western Australia on the world stage.
What’s happening on the night:
Award-winning dishes by our WA Secondary School Bushfoods Competition winners, guided by Chef Paul Iskov (Fervor).
Cultural knowledge and storytelling with Elder & bushfood specialist Dale Tilbrook.
A stellar line-up featuring the ACF WA Youth Team, leading WA chefs, and local talent.
A live fundraising auction with incredible artwork and experiences.
Food sovereignty is about keeping traditions alive and sharing them with pride. Every young person with talent and drive deserves a seat at the global table—by joining us or donating, you’re helping level the playing field.
🎟️ Tickets & GoFundMe link in bio!
Huge thanks to our partners Mandoon Estate, the Australian Culinary Federation, and Slow Food for backing this vision.
