🐴🏅 Good Luck Team Equilus! 🏅🐴

The countdown to the 2026 Special Olympics Australia National Games is on, and we're incredibly proud of Jayda, Rebekah and Jaydan as they prepare to represent Equilus and South Australia this October in Victoria.

Over the past few months, they have dedicated countless extra hours to training, building their skills, confidence, and competition readiness. Their hard work, determination, and commitment have been truly inspiring to watch.

Thank you goes out to their coaches, Briony, Maddison, and Tamara, whose encouragement, expertise, and support have helped guide them every step of the way.

We're also incredibly grateful to the sponsors who have helped make our team so beautifully presented. Their generosity has ensured the team has the competition attire they need as they prepare for this exciting opportunity.

A special mention goes to Horse Guard Australia and APK Helmets. Their donation of the beautiful ABUS Pikeur Airluxe Helmet to our Gala auction helped raise over $900, contributing towards the team's costs for attending the Games.

💙 Thank you for making the Gala unforgettable ✨

What an incredible evening❤️ From inspiring speakers and wonderful entertainment to the generosity shown throughout the night, our Gala was truly a celebration of community, connection and purpose.

To everyone who attended, thank you for being part of such a special night. With more than 200 guests in the room, your presence, energy and support helped create an atmosphere we will remember for a long time.

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, donors (Kwik Kopy for our signage!), auction item contributors, volunteers and supporters who helped make the evening possible. Your generosity and belief in our life-changing work means so much to our participants, families, horses and wider community.

💙 A special thank you to Albert Bensimon and Anita Ward Photography ✨

Our first Gala was a huge success, and we look forward to sharing more details from the night very soon. Before we do, we want to extend a very special thank you to Albert Bensimon (Shiels & Grahams Jewellers), who went above and beyond in his support of the event.

Albert generously contributed some incredible jewellery pieces to our auction and raffle prizes, and his kindness helped make the evening even more special. We are also deeply grateful to all of the wonderful supporters, donors, sponsors, volunteers and guests who contributed to the success of the Gala and support the important work we will continue to do at Equilus.

Many of you will know the truly stunning images captured by equine photographer . For our Gala night, Anita changed her backdrop (mostly 😉) and shared her incredible skills with us at the Gala so please head over to her page and follow.
