A few of our favourite moments from the Port Adelaide Football Club Grandparents' Game, a night that brought generations of families together at the footy. Thank you again to everyone who entered the competition, it was wonderful to see so many families take part.

LHG was proud to sponsor tickets to Port Adelaide Football Club’s last home game of the 2026 season, enabling generations of fans to attend the game.

With the theme 'Grandparents' Game', competition entrants shared the stories of how their loved ones made them Port Adelaide fans, with their passion and devotion to the club bringing them together for a night at the footy.

We are excited to introduce our Spiritual Care Team, having recently welcomed three new Chaplains to LHG. They collectively bring 85 years of chaplaincy experience, currently supporting our residents in South Australia.

Our Chaplains are companions through life's changes and seasons, bringing compassionate comfort and deep listening to residents and families. They bring sensitivity, kindness and genuine care to every conversation, always treated with confidentiality, and can connect residents with their preferred faith representative where needed.

On the weekend, some of our Fullarton residents attended the SANFL match at Unley Oval, thanks to an invitation from the Mayor of Unley.

Supported by our Lifestyle Team, it was a wonderful opportunity for our footy fans to get out and enjoy the game.

Resident Lyall said, "I really enjoyed being able to go to the game. I had a great time and really appreciated being supported to attend."

On Friday, 7 August, we will be recognising the more than 1,200 people who make up our team across South Australia and Victoria, whose care, compassion and commitment make a real difference in the lives of older people every single day.
