North East Community House Inc North East Community House (N.E.C.H) offers an excellent range of activities and groups to the community

A place for people to meet new people, learn new skills, share their skills & join in community programs. The centre is staffed 1.3FTE & supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. We are not open public holidays, our opening times are subject to change & most of our programs and activities run during school term only. Come along to Creative Hands at North East Community House – a relaxed, welcoming group where creativity and conversation go hand in hand.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR WANTED!

North East Community House is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable exercise instructor to run a weekly class for older members of our community.

📅 Every Monday
⏰ 12.00pm – 1.00pm
📍 North East Community House, 27-31 Queensborough Ave, Hillcrest

We’re looking for someone who:

✅ Is fully qualified as an exercise/fitness instructor OR is currently studying towards an appropriate qualification
✅ Has their own current Public Liability Insurance
✅ Is confident and comfortable working with a community-based group
✅ Has experience working with older people (advantageous, but not essential)
✅ Is reliable and able to commit to the Monday 12pm–1pm timeslot

💰 Payment: We are seeking an instructor willing to conduct the class for no more than $7 per participant, per session.

⚠️ Please note: The Monday 12pm–1pm timeslot is non-negotiable, and we are unable to offer alternative days or times.
