The Flinders University Labor Club recognises that we operate on Kaurna Land, we acknowledge the continued connection that First Nations people have to the lands and waters of Australia. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging and commit ourselves to working in partnership with First Nations People. The Flinders University Labor Club is the largest and most active social justice/politi

cal/environmental club on campus. We promote progressive and democratic socialist political values by advocating for the rights of students and working people, fighting against bigotry, racism, sexism and homophobia in our communities and demanding immediate and considerable action to combat climate change. To achieve this, we encourage and support our members to participate in the structures and processes of the Australian Labor Party, the trade union movement, and by supporting the election campaigns of likeminded students to activist institutions such as the Flinders University Student Association and the National Union of Students.
