The Picabeen Community Centre provides a range of welfare services and activities for the residents of Mitchelton, Keperra, Enoggera, Ferny Grove, Ferny Hills, Arana Hills, Everton Park and Everton Hills. There is a particular focus on youth counselling and engagement, as well as activities for seniors.

Join us on Tuesday the 8th of September!

Social Connections runs every Tuesday from 12.30pm to 2pm and is hosted by the Youth Team at Picabeen Community Centre (22 Hoben Street, Mitchelton)

We would love to give a BIG SHOUTOUT to Pine Community School in Arana Hills and all their families that have provided donations.

We appreciate all your hard work in supporting Picabeen Community Centre and assisting us in stocking our community food pantry.

Donations like these assist us in continuing our Food Pantry program which for the month of August, has supported Picabeen in providing food parcels to 72 Adults and 62 Children experiencing food insecurity.

Community Shoutout!

We would love to give a BIG shoutout to Mitchelton State School!

Thank you to the primary school and all staff and families that have provided donations, advertised our food drive and served as a drop off location. We appreciate all your hard work in supporting Picabeen Community Centre and assisting us in stocking our community food pantry.

Community Shoutout!

Thank you to Everton Park Plus Fitness for their huge support over our August Food Drive. Everton Park Plus Fitness acted as a drop location for the food drive, both staff and members donated essential items to stock our food pantry.

Their contribution is greatly appreciated and has assisted Picabeen in supporting community members experiencing food insecurity.

Our next Brisbane Northside Su***de Bereavement Support Group is coming up soon.

Picabeen Community Centre provides a dedicated space for people who have been affected by the su***de of a loved one. This peer-led support group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, offering a safe and supportive environment for understanding, connection, and compassionate listening.
