Meet Squirrel 🐿️🐾

Don’t let the name fool you, Squirrel is 100% kitten and 100% adorable, with just a tiny sprinkle of “I can do it myself, thank you very much.” 😼

This gorgeous tabby girl is lovely, playful and wonderfully independent. She enjoys a good game, a little exploring and generally keeping herself very busy with all the important business of being a kitten.

Lovely? Absolutely. Playful? Definitely. Independent? You bet.

Squirrel has arrived. The household has been notified. 🐿️💕

🥣 NOT EVERY KITTEN CAN EAT “JUST ANYTHING”

Growing kittens have very specific nutritional needs, and some of the little ones arriving into rescue need even more specialised care. That's why our kitten season budget isn't just about formula.

It also helps provide specialist food and nutritional support for kittens who need a little extra help. Your donation becomes something very practical: food in a bowl, formula in a bottle and a stronger kitten. 🐾

We're working towards $5,000 by 31 October. Can you help us get there? ❤️ 👉 https://chuffed.org/project/kitten-season-survival-fund

Pip is a gorgeous black and white sweetheart who’s still figuring out this whole “humans are actually alright” situation. She’s a sensitive soul who would absolutely thrive in a quieter home, ideally with older kids or, if we’re being completely honest… no kids at all. She’s not being dramatic, she just prefers her life a bit more spa retreat than birthday party.

Pip is still learning to trust, so she’ll need a patient, kind human who understands that love sometimes arrives in small, quiet steps. But once she feels safe, you’ll see just how special she is. Sweet, gentle, and absolutely stunning, she’s the kind of girl who will quietly steal your heart and then sit on it.

If you’ve got a calm home, a friendly feline buddy, and a soft spot for a shy but beautiful little soul, Pip might just be your perfect match. 🖤🤍

🐾💕 A little bit of mum-and-bub cuteness for your feed! 💕🐾

These gorgeous little ones recently came into care, and they’ve already got us completely wrapped around their tiny paws. 🥹🐱

Mum is doing a wonderful job looking after her little crew while they grow, snooze, play and generally cause the appropriate amount of kitten chaos. 😻

For now, they’re safe, cosy and getting everything they need. We’ll share more of their story as they grow and their little personalities start to emerge. 💕🐾

Because honestly… who needs productivity when there are tiny kittens to stare at? 😍

❤️ DUMPLING UPDATE ❤️

Unfortunately, our beautiful Dumpling has been readmitted to hospital.

Despite eating small, regular amounts on his own at home, he has continued to lose weight, and sadly his kidneys are struggling again.

We’re giving our gorgeous boy one last chance to rally. He is back on IV fluids and will likely have a feeding tube placed today so we can carefully control his calorie intake and give his body the nutrition and support it desperately needs.

Over the next few days, we need to see Dumpling start gaining weight and his kidneys respond to treatment.

If his little body can’t rally despite everything being done for him, we know we will have reached the point where the kindest thing we can do is let him go. 💔

For now, we’re holding onto hope and giving Dumpling every chance we can. He has fought incredibly hard, and we’re right there fighting alongside him. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has already donated towards Dumpling’s care. Your support has helped us give him every possible chance, and we truly can’t thank you enough.

If you’re able to contribute towards this next stage of his hospital care, even a small donation would mean so much to us and to Dumpling. ❤️

🍼 THE BOTTLE FEEDING SHIFT

Imagine waking up every few hours because someone tiny is hungry. That's life for some of our foster carers during kitten season.

Orphaned and very young kittens can need frequent feeds, warmth, cleaning and monitoring. It's exhausting, messy, rewarding work. And it takes a surprising amount of formula.

Our Kitten Season Survival Fund is helping us prepare for those little ones before they arrive. We're aiming for $5,000 by 31 October.

Every donation helps us stock the supplies that turn a vulnerable kitten into a thriving one. 🐾

Kevin may look like a little panther, but he is the sweetest senior boy you’ll meet. Shoulder rides, cuddles on your chest, sitting on your lap, and curling up next to you on the couch, this chunky boy is full of love.

In true panther fashion, he likes to find the cosiest hiding spots in the house, usually dark ones where his coat will help him camouflage. When it’s time to come out and play, his favourite toys are strings and feathers.

Kevin has previously expressed his disinterest for living with young children and would suit a quiet household with adults as the only cat in the house.
