WOW. What a night! ๐ŸŽ‰ We are still buzzing from an absolutely incredible Kwiz for the Kidz evening. Spectacular fits, fierce competition and incredible generosity of Our Village was as always, completely humbling.

You helped to raise over $50,000 for the Learning for Life Autism Centre, where every dollar will go toward creating more inclusive environments for autistic and other neurodivergent children. We are so proud of what we achieved together.

A huge congratulations to Table Three, the reigning Kwiz champions! ๐Ÿ† You came, you studied, you conquered.

Thank you to the legendary Tom Gleisner and Glenn Robbins for hosting, thank you to our event sponsor, Lucas Dental Care, and to everyone that donated items for the auction and raffle. Thank you to Katie Weston Music for the tunes! ๐ŸŽน And a big thank you to every single person who showed up, dressed up, and gave so generously. This community never fails to amaze us. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™

The journey of raising a neurodivergent child comes with a lot of moving parts. That's why supporting families is central to everything we do at Learning for Life Autism Centre. Today we stand against homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia, and recommit to building a world where everyone truly belongs. At Learning for Life, that means celebrating, including and valuing people of all abilities, backgrounds, education, cultures, ethnicity, genders, bodies and sexualities.

Positive Behaviour Support isn't about stopping behaviours, it's about understanding what's behind them, and helping a child find better ways to get their needs met. Our registered Behaviour Support Practitioners work closely with your family to develop a personalised Behaviour Support Plan thatโ€™s tailored specifically to your child. That means building on their strengths, identifying triggers before they escalate, and equipping everyone around your child with the tools and training to respond consistently.

Learning for Life Autism Centreโ€™s practitioners include experienced Psychologists and Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), all registered with the NDIS Commission. Everyone at L4L is committed to a human rights approach that puts the child's quality of life first.

Not sure where to start? An assessment can help. Learning for Life Autism Centreโ€™s standardised assessments are carried out by an experienced allied health team to better understand your child's strengths and needs, so we can recommend the right type and level of clinical support from the get-go.

Important to note, we don't conduct autism diagnostic assessments and recommend these are completed by a specialist multidisciplinary team.

Inclusion Works. โœจ

To celebrate the first term of the Inclusion Works program running across three early learning centres, we gathered for a morning tea with the incredible people who have helped make this work possible.

We were honoured to be joined by our wonderful guests including Inner East Community Support, members of Boroondarra City Council, staff from participating early learning centres and Learning for Life, and John Pesutto MP.

Our Head of Early Intervention, Claire Birrell, said it best: "It's not about doing more โ€” it's about simply doing things slightly differently."

Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was wonferful to connect with you all.

Thank you to Inner East Community Support, whose generous philanthropic backing has made this possible.

Making friends, managing big feelings, and figuring out the social world is a lot for any kid. The Secret Agent Society (SAS) is a small group program for 8โ€“12-year-olds that builds real social skills in a fun, structured way. Plus, we run parent groups alongside, so the whole family is on the same mission.
