The CPSU Vic is sending our solidarity to Allied Health Professionals who just voted to take Industrial Action!

Victorian Allied Health Professionals are calling on the Victorian Government to properly invest in Allied Health and fix the growing workforce crisis affecting our public health system.

Allied Health Professionals are critical to patient care, preventative healthcare, rehabilitation, diagnosis, disability support, and recovery across Victoria.

Yet Victorian public sector Allied Health Professionals continue to be undervalued for the work they perform and are paid less than most of their interstate counterparts and colleagues working in other parts of the healthcare sector in Victoria, while workloads, vacancies, and burnout continue to grow.

Listen to the incredible Liz, a Parks Victoria worker and CPSU Vic delegate, talk about the important work Parks Victoria do and why they're fighting for fair pay!

If you have experienced the natural beauty of Victoria, you have seen the work Parks Victoria do.

Whether you're visiting one of Victoria's beautiful parks, going scuba diving in Victoria's reefs, hiking, camping and much more. Parks Victoria are there.

Parks Victoria members from Lysterfield, Bendigo, Latrobe St, Traralgon, Dandenong Ranges and all over Victoria took Industrial Action today to fight for what's fair!

Parks Vic workers are responsible for looking after the most valuable and environmentally vulnerable public assets we have as Victorians, the national parks we all love.

A place for campers, hikers, school groups, nature lovers, every single Victorian and tourists from all over the world.

After 12 months of bargaining Parks Vic management have failed to present an offer that members can accept. Parks Vic has put forward an offer that includes no real pay increase for all workers.

The Unions are fighting for what’s fair for all workers. Pay that reflects their work and service to the public.

Members are united, organised, and prepared to stand together.

Parks Victoria Union members are taking Industrial Action to get what they deserve.

For the first time in 15 years, Parks Victoria (PV) staff across the state walked off the job today in an ongoing fight for fair pay and conditions.

Well done to every member who took Industrial Action today! This picture is from the Latrobe St rally but we’ll have more pictures to share from actions across the state soon!

This is Victoria, workers have rights, and scare tactics won’t work here.

Emergencies do not escalate neatly. Bushfires, floods and storms can deteriorate within minutes, and readiness cannot be built reactively after a crisis has already begun.

Staff are worried that these changes to the State Control Centre will have devastating impacts for Victorians.

We call on Emergency Management Victoria and the state government to scrap these cuts.

The CPSU will fight against any Victorian Government that proposes mass public service job cuts. No more job cuts!
