Our members own and display the largest collection of various Japanese train models in Australia, ranging from modern Bullet Trains to classical Steam Locomotives!

The senior members of the AJMRG Inc have just been notified of a loss of a valued friend and former member of the group Robert Ringrose who passed away in Easter. We send our condolences to Robert's family.

Robert has been a valued contributor to the group when first started, and we were looking forward to his return with us with his friendliness and knowledge with model trains. It's a sad loss for us.

Thank you Robert rest well. (Aged: 65)

Today was the box hill Japan festival, we showed off all aspects of Japan's railways. Here's some photos of our setup and other stuff that was on show at the festival.

We are happy to announce that this year we are exhibiting our small transportable layout at the Glen Waverly model railway group at the Brandon park community centre over the king's labour day weekend.

It's a small show but it packs a lot of good layouts and shops in.

So if you are in the area come in and say hi! -Arthur
