Thank you, Veteran and Family Wellbeing Agency, for highlighting Veteran Housing Australia's Connection to Purpose this Homelessness Week: 'Every veteran deserves a safe place to sleep'. We appreciate your support in helping raise awareness of veteran homelessness π§‘
This Homelessness Week, weβre highlighting the connection to purpose that drives Veteran Housing Australia (VHA) on its mission to end veteran homelessness.
In 1932, First World War veteran William Hawkins founded the Carry On Club on one principle βdo good by stealthβ. 94 years on, VHA lives that ethos every day as a registered community housing provider (CHP) dedicated exclusively to veterans and families of veterans.
For VHA CEO and Australian Army veteran Rob Miller, the connection to purpose is simple, βevery veteran deserves a safe place to sleep.β
Housing stability is foundational to health, connection, and independence.
