⭐️A CALL TO MUMMAS EVERYWHERE⭐️
As a mum of 3, I've come to realize that motherhood is both the most rewarding and challenging role I've ever had. In the midst of loving and caring for our little humans, it's easy to loose touch with ourselves and others. I've seen the cries for help and connection from mums online, and I know we're not alone. Let's take a step towards building our village and supporting each other.
Join us at our Shed on
Monday, 15th June at 6:30pm - Lara Community Centre
Let's thrive together!
No dress code, no bu****it, just women supporting women through the most important time of our lives.
A bit about me -
I’m Jade, President of the NGC Women’s Shed, mum of 3 school aged (8,8,15) kiddos, work full time aswell!
I am humbled to see so many women come into our space and feel instantly at home, participating in an activity, having a cuppa and a chat or simply just enjoying the hum !
Motherhood is so lonely when you have neurodivergent kiddos, it’s difficult to predict their behaviour, forever apologising or correcting gently. I’d love to connect with other mums who get it, start a monthly (or fortnightly even!) space for us to connect, download and feel connected.
Put the fear aside and build your village! Asking for help is often felt like you are failing. This is unbelievably misguided. Parenting was never meant to be done alone, hundreds of cultures around the world literally have a village to help and support each other and their kids.
I want to make this happen for us !!
Come along and see if connections happen !
