The Lara District Rotary Club is a dedicated group of local volunteers united by a shared passion for making a positive impact in our community. Our club is designed to be flexible, offering opportunities for members to get involved in person or online, making it easy to fit volunteering into busy lives. We meet 2-3 Wednesday nights a month, alternating between online sessions and gatherings at th

e Lara Sporting Club, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. As proud hosts of the monthly Lara Community Market, we bring together local artisans, businesses, and community members for a vibrant and supportive event. Our monthly Paint and Sip Event is another highlight, combining creativity and connection while raising funds to support our initiatives. Beyond these events, we are committed to serving the Lara community through a variety of projects that address local needs, build relationships, and promote community well-being. Whether it’s supporting local causes, organizing events, or simply lending a helping hand, the Lara District Rotary Club is dedicated to fostering a stronger, more connected community. After 13 years of proudly serving our community, the Rotary Club of Lara District will close on May 31st 2026.

During this period, our members, volunteers, supporters, and community partners have helped us deliver meaningful projects, support local organisations, and make a positive difference across the Lara community.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who contributed their time, passion, and support. Your involvement has allowed us to achieve more together than we ever could alone.

As we prepare to wind up our club’s activities, we want to say thank you for 13 years of connection, contribution, and community spirit.

At our monthly Paint & Sip events, $10 from every ticket is donated directly to a local individual, organisation or charity within our community.

Given the recent devastating fires in our region, we’re proud to be donating this month’s proceeds to BlazeAid 💛💙

BlazeAid provides vital, hands-on support to farming families and rural communities as they rebuild and recover after natural disasters, and we’re honoured to support the incredible work they do.

Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel this month’s Paint & Sip, numbers were just a little too low this time around 💖

If you had a booking, don’t worry! You can choose a refund or roll your tickets over to our next Paint & Sip on Friday 13th February 2026. Just reply to the email I've sent out and I’ll organise it for you, or you are welcome to message me on 0403 577 721.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support these nights. They really do make a difference to the community projects we’re able to fund, and we can’t wait to see you in February for another relaxed night of painting, sipping and plenty of laughs 🎨🍷✨

Last month, Directors and branch staff attended the annual Rotary Club of Lara District Fred Groves Emergency Services Awards. This evening brings together the local fire, ambulance, police and SES services to honour the tireless efforts of our emergency service members. Congratulations to all the worthy winners of 2025. We are proud to have played a part in the evening by contributing funds through our Community Investment Program.
