Thank you to all the parkrunners who joined us for a slightly chilly You Yangs parkrun – 75 of you chose to come along and walk or run 5 km at event #419.
The following parkrunners volunteered to host You Yangs parkrun this weekend. Our deep thanks to: Anne, Ashley, David, John, Julie, Leanne, Lorraine, Michele and Steve.
It’s National Volunteer Week, so we’d also like to thank the 86 people who have volunteered over the last 12 months and all 381 volunteers who have supported us since our first event back in 2016.
A few notable mentions this week:
⭐️ Three cheers to the newest members of milestone clubs, Hugo (10 parkruns) and Eliza (50 parkruns).
⭐️ Welcome to Timothy, who was a parkrun first timer, and to the 20 parkrunners who joined us at You Yangs parkrun for the first time, including visitors from Bendigo, Ballarat and Tasmania.
⭐️ Very well done to the 11 parkrunners who improved their You Yangs personal best time this week.

These stripy little tickets are your passport to free, fun, and friendly weekly events all over the world and also carry contact details in case of an emergency. parkrun barcode wristbands and tags also have emergency contact & medical information, which you can take with you wherever you exercise.
Since You Yangs parkrun started 5,123 brilliant parkrunners have had their barcodes scanned, and a grand total of 16,744 finishers have covered a total distance of 83,720 km, while celebrating 1,965 personal bests. We shall always be grateful to each of our 381 wonderful volunteers for their contributions.
