Interest in our All About EVs workshops for new and prospective EV drivers has picked up lately so we will try running them a little more frequently.
This time we are also trying a Sunday (June 21st) for a change but still 2PM till 4PM.

Rain held off today for AEVA ACT's second 'Charge Up' event. Lots of good conversations and demonstrations were had with people keen to learn more about EVs and charging. Thanks to charge point operator, Exploren, and The Mint for their support. Tea and Espresso coffee and fruit toast were provided via 'vehicle to loaf'.

A grand day out was had in Yass today (Sunday 19th April) when AEVA ACT put on a diverse display of new and older EVs for the residents of Yass and surrounding districts. EV Association members were on hand to answer questions about living with an EV. There was particular interest from those with long regular commutes into Canberra. Thank you to all who took part and helped with organising and promotion of the event.

Come along to our next ACT Charge Up event where you can see demonstrations of how an EV is fast charged, learn more about EV charging, and how to manage charging on long trips. AEVA volunteers will be present to answer all of your EV questions and there will be drinks and nibbles available from EV-powered appliances. We had a great turnout today at our first EV Charge Up event at Next Gen Lyneham. Quite a few people had fast charging demystified, and the use of apps and RFID cards sorted out. Thanks to Grant for putting on V2L coffees which were very popular!
