The Awards for Men in Leadership are an initiative to recognise positive male role models and to encourage aspiring male leaders of the future. Male leaders from business, public sector, government, non-profits, education, and other sectors are encouraged to apply... Two Awards were granted in 2023, along with another two in 2024. These Awards are open to men who work and live in Canberra, and who
have high leadership potential for driving positive change. Selection criteria include being a positive male role model, the demonstration of agency in your life, and making a significant contribution to our community. All aspiring men are encouraged to apply (especially men from under-represented categories): Indigenous, cultural/ethnic backgrounds, young men aspiring to senior leadership, economic/educational/social disadvantage, disabled, and all male leaders…
This will be a life-changing experience for all of the winners: a $10k scholarship to undertake further studies or professional development in the areas of leadership and governance; a structured mentorship program where we will work together for nine months; along with networking opportunities and introductions that are tailored to each specific winner.
