Have Your Say – MCASA Strategic Plan

If you are a member of the Macedonian Community of Adelaide and South Australia and have not yet had the opportunity to provide feedback on our Draft Strategic Plan, we would love to hear from you. Please send us a direct message.

Our Executive Team, together with members from our various committees, has been working collaboratively on the development of a new Strategic Plan for our community. This work has been informed by community engagement, helping to ensure the plan reflects the aspirations, priorities, and future vision of our members.

The plan is now nearing completion and will soon be shared with the broader community.

At the heart of this work is our vision:

“A vibrant, welcoming, financially strong, transparent, and united Macedonian community in South Australia, where people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences feel included, celebrated, and inspired.”

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our community and ensure MCASA continues to grow, thrive, and serve future generations.

Now is your chance to learn from the OGs of maznik-making Zoe and Jenny the incredible women in our community who have been perfecting this traditional skill for decades and have been making maznik their entire lives. They will share their knowledge, tips, techniques, and secrets that have been passed down through generations.

This hands-on workshop is more than just cooking. It’s about preserving our culture, celebrating our traditions, and bringing generations together through food and storytelling.

And gentlemen, this isn’t just for the ladies! Men are absolutely welcome too. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to perfect your skills, everyone is encouraged to come along and have a go.

You’ll learn:

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers who came along and helped at today’s Working Bee. ❤️

There is a tremendous amount of upkeep, maintenance, and preparation involved in running our community facilities and events, and quite simply, we could not do it without your support, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand.

So much was accomplished today, and every task completed brings us one step closer to welcoming everyone for Ilinden.

Thank you for giving up your Saturday to support our community. Your efforts make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful.

With all the work that has been done, Ilinden is shaping up to be a wonderful celebration for everyone.
